That first game was about as close to a brutal hand to hand street fight as you can get in SC2, just two people absolutely smashing each other in the face hoping the other takes a step back. What an absolute stunner of a match!
As a mid tier diamond player and seasoned viewer of replays, I have to say that 2nd game was easily in the top 2 games I've ever witnessed. Gumiho near perfect micro in 3 locations was masterful and a joy to watch. BRAVO!
Last game was the best, gumihos hellbat drops, serrals insane infestor play, most pro zergs doesnt even use infestors vs terran because its so hard to get value.
"You don't often see drones get the transfuse but that one got lucky and survived!" What a strong social statement about the state of drone relations. With Blizzards touchy past with these kinds of topics I'm glad they were brave enough to talk about it.
Serral is the best for so much time now, this man is a god of Starcraft 2 ! What a great macro and micro from Serral it's awesome, and he can defend and attack so well ! GG !

If done on purpose, I seriously appreciate the "screwed up" linking of games and timestamps. It isn't fun knowing that with 2 games left, if one player has 2 wins, they are going to win. This alleviates that! Kudos!
This series shows how crazy zerg defense is creep, queen's and banes. They lose every fight but if they win one convincingly then their production allows them to overwhelm. And in late game viper and lurker is so strong. Oh and then infestors that give thr zerg a 12 supply swing when they neural a thor.
Rage quit by Serral in game 2. The last minutes must have been extremely frustrating. Basically all Serral had to do was defend his natural with the pool. I think this was doable against about 16 Marines with barely any Medivac Energy left, even though the upgrade advantage.
@@BikeRush Gumiho had not enough marines to finish, you don't wipe 5 bases in 1min. Serral had about 20lings and 40 drones, he could have defended easily but he was just tilted. Sad to watch in a pro game, especially a final.
@@Jean_Charles_Hubert not possible Vs plus 3 marines and that many meds also his units would need to meet up in 1 area serral will lose mostly all drones before the ling's even hit the Field serral knows it's over so he quits simple not rage
I recon Serral dominates for so long and very consistantly is why many in the comments either hate him or just blame Zerg for being imba instead not wanting to credit how good Serral is.
38:00 are we even watching the same game? Serral has a big bank, is almost maxed, gumiho just lost a huge chunk of a mech army, that's NEVER a good thing for mech Terran, how is serral in danger of losing? At that point it was almost decided already.
again and again infestor is a game changing unit for zerg and in order to counter it u need ghost EMP + detection (raven/infinite scan) which is something gumi did not have =(
He always stick to mech with BC, tank and Thor which is fucking disadvantage because he can't position well. Gumiho's wins are only marines idk why he doesn't change strategy at that point.

The absolute micro on Gumiho was mental. He was fighting like 7-8 different fights at once using MM build. He was definitely in the zone.
Easy, terrain doesn't require skills.
