    The Ingredients needed..
    Mint Cake Recipe
    Ingredients For the #Cake
    2 cups of Flour
    225g of Margarine
    1 cup of Sugar
    3 Eggs
    2 teaspoons of Mint Flavour
    ⅔ cup or 150ml of Plain Sweetened Yoghurt
    ( you can replace with WholeMilk in the absence of yoghurt)
    1 teaspoon of baking powder
    ¼ teaspoon of Green liquid food colouring
    Procedure
    - Sift flour and add baking powder
    - Mix Sugar, green food colouring and mint flavour together and set aside
    - Cream the green flavoured Sugar and Margarine with mixer till light and fluffy
    - Add eggs gradually one at a time
    - Alternate flour mixture with yoghurt
    - Mix thoroughly and then Distribute batter into prepared pan and bake till firm
    Then incase you want to frost it...you can use Mint Buttercream Icing
    Ingredients For the Mint Buttercream
    250g of Margarine
    500g of Icing Sugar 👇👇
    3 tablespoons of Milk
    1 tablespoon of Mint Flavour
    2 teaspoons of Green liquid food colouring
    - Mix all together till well blended..

    I made this. Used self rising flour and greek yogurt. Came out very well. Very soft cake. So soft in fact that I strongly suggest lining the pan with paper if you use a solid pan.

    I'll be making one of these but I will do a dark chocolate frosting which will really compliment the mint cake. I may substitute the yogurt with soured cream.

      Ywc..its between 245g and 260g depending on the type of cup used..but the standard = is 250g

    Please please stop using Margarine It’s very very unhealthy use butter.

      Ok thanks..but here in my country, we bake more with Margarine. Butter is not so common

      @@darecipequeen Understand, but remember, even ants won’t eat margarine. So we can try to use Butter, it is so much better for you. We did not have heart problems until we started using fake stuff. Thanks to government
