Yeah, it can be worth it. This gave me a flashback to an **old** Proleague game, Boxer vs. Flash, where Flash was ahead 90% of the game and Boxer came back with nukes. Boxer's style was going directly for SCV lines, Ghost + Dropship

What a game. T v T takes such skill, but is incredible to watch guys at the highest level duke it out.
EMP probably would have been a good investment here. If you reset the Battlecruisers' energy to 0, it buys you a lot of time before you're forced to play an aggressive move.

Pretty insane how far ahead you have to be to lose all the factories in your main and still stay ahead
he was never ahead look at the gas bank....thats what matters in tvt

4 tanks: 600 minerals 400 gas 126 build time
1 ghost + 1 nuke: 225 min 275 gas 94.5 build time
Seems worth?
If this is not an epic game, I don't know what it is.
That being said, nuke is one thing that SC2 greatly improved.
Verdict: Nukes are NOT OP
Yep, they are good at breaking defenses, but they are such a heavy investment.
I wonder how much success he could have had if he tried to nuke the production. IDK but TvT is the reason why I dont play terran, not fun to play for me.

You need 2 nukes to destroy a factory and there is some fairly drastic damage falloff. Destroying a whole suite of factories would be quite difficult.
Is a nuke and a ghost worth 4 tanks.... are you for real? nuke 200mins 200gas ghost 75 25 or some shit 4 tanks 600mins 600gas your answer is in the math...
Yeah maybe worth. tank is 100 gas though so 400 total. I actually didn't remember how much a nuke cost when I was casting this, it's been that long since I saw one
There's also the opportunity cost of having 9 supply invested in the ghost and the nuke that are providing 0 control on the map while those 4 tanks were doing stuff on the map, until they died.
The question is did those tanks do enough to make up for their cost before they died to the nuke.
