Cream and alcohol - what could be a sweeter mix? While we here in Ireland would be mainly used to Irish Cream liqueurs, there are in fact many more cream liqueurs available, and we simply had to sit down our resident Irish People to see what they thought of some of them!

The elephant on the Amarula bottle is called Sebakwe. He is the leader of the Jabulani herd of South Africa. The pink elephant is a rescued albino baby elephant that was brutally harmed by poachers and abandoned by her herd. She was snatched from death and is now a beloved adopted child , Khanyisa, of the Jabulani herd.

Went to California decades ago. Gifted a coworker with Irish Cream Liqueur. Said it was the quickest she ever got hungover.
Callyann hit the nail on the head with the Frangelico. I grew up in an Italian/Sicilian American family and the elders always put Frangelico or Anisette in their coffee on a Sunday after church.
Vodka, Baileys, Kahlúa, and Frangellico equal parts over ice. The single most delicious drink i have ever had!

We South Africans love to make a dom Pedros with our Amarula’s. Vanilla ice cream, heavy cream, Amarula, chocolate liqueur and espresso. Couple of pulses in the blender and pour over ice😌.

Try St. Brendan's if you can find it in the US, MUCH cheaper.

Amarula is SO Good. I've had regular cream Amarula and there was a "golden" which was not cream. It was so good.

Original Frangelico is quite enjoyable. Not so sure a cream version of it would be. Thanks for trying it though triers!
I wasn't aware of a Frangelico Cream. And yes, the shape is that of a Franciscan monk in his habit. From Wikipedia "based on a legend of a hermit monk named Fra Angelico who lived in the Piedmont region of Italy and "created unique recipes for liqueurs".

I became a big fan of Amarula when I visited South Africa in 1999. However, I've never seen nor tried their different flavors. It goes very well in coffee.

The Frangelico instantly reminded me of a favorite shot called chocolate cake. 1oz. Vodka, 1oz. Fragelico, 1 lemon wedge dipped in sugar. Drink shot, eat wedge. Somehow! It tastes exactly like choco cake!
That Frangelico bottle's giving off serious 'dollar store Mrs Butterworth knockoff" vibes. :)
My parents had this in their liquor cabinet. Lots of dust on that one.

My favorite cream liqueur is Travis Hasse Cow Pie...made with Real Wisconsin Dairy Cream and Rum with chocolate, caramel and vanilla flavoring...it's sweet, it's smooth, and has almost no alcohol flavor in it (if that matters to you) so you can drink it straight without a mix. It's only 15% alcohol (compared to Bailey's 17%).
As a south African a Amarula always wins

Disaronno Velvet is my current heaven in a bottle as far as cream liqueurs go. And its affordable too!
Best regards from Germany, the best cream liqueur in the world is and remains Carolans Original Irish Cream Liqueur, nothing beats it.

Mix a shot of Frangelico and a shot of Chambord (blackberry liqueur) into a glass of ice and milk. You'll get a nuts and berries. It's so good.

when I was young, I drank warm milk with a splash of Frangelico in it to warm up a bit, instead of a hot cup of chocolate.

Callyann, Nicole, and Seamus sounded like they really enjoyed the creme liqueurs, they're not for everyone. I've had some of these at my house before and they are flavourful for a dessert portion of a meal.

The regular Amarula is brilliant with Vanilla ice cream or milk, its a South African staple.
Amarula cream line is amazing addition to morning coffee ❤🎉
I was given a bottle of bourbon cream (think Bailey’s with more bite) this last Christmas, and it was outstanding. I poured some on some vanilla ice cream with a little chocolate syrup, and it instantly became a favorite treat. Needless to say, the 750ml bottle did not last long.
I love their accents! And I love their charismatic personalities too. I want to try that raspberry chocolate Amarula, it looks delicious. 😋

One of the best after dinner drinks I ever had was coffee with Frangelico topped with whipped cream.
Frangelico is great as a cheesecake flavouring, with a drizzle of chocolate and shaved toasted hazelnuts. Also grand in coffee or cocoa.
Frangelico is a lovely addition to dark chocolate fondue.
I'm a big fan of a splash of RumChata on vanilla ice cream, and I can say with all honesty, I would be more than happy to put a splash of any of these cream liqueurs on the aforementioned ice cream. RumChata on granola on a Saturday morning might be alright too, Seamus, haha!
Never had any of these, but I had a brand (blanking on the name) that had a 'banana cream pie' liqueur, and a 'peaches and cream' liqueur, and both were AMAZING.
I believe "African Ginger" is the aesthetic that Vanilla Spice is aiming for. Ah-thank you. Thank you very much.
