Small Town Urbandale, IL - Abandoned, Overgrown & Forgotten Buildings on the Ohio River Scenic Byway

    Driving through the unincorporated small town of Urbandale, Illinois off Route 37 in Alexander County. In the link below, Urbandale is said to have been founded in 1908 and the Sears Roebuck Manufacturing Company had a factory in the town! Urbandale is located about 4 miles north of Cairo, Illinois. The church in town is called the Urbandale Community Chapel.
    In a quick search online, I did not find much information about the now unincorporated community. If you have any information that you would like to add about Urbandale, please comment below.
