I feel like Cuphead and Mugman would be 2 human kids, and they got sucked into a magical story book or something and got transformed into those creepy puppets

I swear in some cases AI just pulls from alternate realities at times. The angles these are "shot" at especially Cagney make a lot of sense and they look so realistic its uncanny... I swear in some universe somewhere, this exists...
This movie would be like, The Dark Crystal. People would constantly talk about how dark and traumatizing the movie was, and Cagney would be in a bunch of RUclips videos with titles like "THIS WAS FOR KIDS?!?" or "TOP TEN DARKEST KIDS MOVIES" Also, Beppi would be used as a reason kids became scared of clowns.
The designs on the characters that the ai deemed human (Especially on Dijimmi, Cala Maria, King Dice, Dr Kahl and the Devil) are fantastic. They're unique but still faithful to the 80's aesthetic and the original game . (Edit: Fixed the typo, Vane Raze)
@@madhousestudios5214 Yeah, I get it's artificial and that there's no real talent to it, but I still think it's cool. This video is just made for fun and dosen't mean to do anything wrong. It's showing some interesting interpretations of a cuphead 80's movie made by a code.
This gives me vibes that, much like The Super Mario Brothers Movie (the original), this movie would’ve had a different plot from the games entirely. Based on the way Cuphead looks compared to everyone else’s designs makes me think he wasn’t originally Cuphead, but was _transformed_ into Cuphead. Maybe this plot would’ve went a kid loved this particular type of Cartoon so much, one day he just got sucked into a television and now has to go on a journey defeating everyone in Inkwell Isles to go home. It probably would’ve used a particular blend of claymation and effects to give it a cartoony feel.
I like how the ones with undertale/deltarune characters were almost perfect, where as these ones are all nightmare fuel and extremely abstract (maybe except some of the later ones)
It honestly seems like it would be about Ms Chalice who goes to another dimension and is turned into a chalice by the devil, leading to her teaming up with cuphead and mugman, two slightly creepy but sweet brothers and going on a journey to get her back home (with a little help from Chef Saltbaker)
Now we're talkin'! One of my favorite indies got the 80's AI treatment! This is splendid stuff and an ultra-neat novelty, especially a fan of King Dice looking like the spitting image of Cab Calloway! And that pitch is pretty charming too, with it sounding straight out of that era of films. I would love to see the castle be designed kind of like Luigi's Mansion 3, with each floor being heavily themed around a given concept to the point of feeling like a different setting altogether (ie. Ribby and Croaks having a boxing ring, Cagney getting a botanical garden). Overall, this is up there as a favorite due in part to bias and how these all turned out.
Nice designs. Definitely got some Return to OZ, Crystal Kingdom and Tim Burton vibes. If this ended up becoming an 80's dark fantasy movie as to how you pitched it; I'd watch it for damn sure.
[made a lost media case based off of some comments!] “The Adventures Of Cuphead And Mugman”, or simply known as “Cuphead”, is an 1986 collaboration film between Tim Burton and Jim Henson. The story follows two brothers who get sucked into a storybook where they have to fight magical creatures and defeat the devil in hopes of returning home. The film wasn’t as successful as their other works, but still gained lots of money. But it eventually faded from the public view, being forgotten by audiences. That was until 2010, where somebody brought up the movie on a forum. People reminisced about how much the movie scared them as children, mostly remembering the scene where the devil takes his skin off. The search began to find this lost piece of media, but while it’s still lost today multiple people have claimed having it in their attic or basement. Nobody has released footage online yet, but we are hoping it will come to light soon.
I feel like, in another timeline, this is real. Parents would tell their kids about a movie called “Cuphead” then a game with the same name would come out, basically just the movie in game form. Maybe that’s why some of these look so familiar…
I really love this video This feels weirdly fitting with the Cuphead art style I know Cuphead takes place in 1930 and this is supposed to look like it’s from the 80’s But I can imagine if MDHR where able to make a theme park similar to Disney World And they made animatronics of the characters for rides I can imagine them looking a lot like this
I feel like it would be a show and it would be like Capitan Scarlet or the original Thomas the tank engine where they are actual puppets with maybe some live action characters but that would like episode one because it's a strange wizard of Oz thing going on where Cuphead and Mugman are real kids who got sucked into their storybook and everyone is people they know.
Even with the Dark Fantasy prompt, I like that these didn’t take a D&D/Hard Fantasy approach - more like a Wizard of Oz retelling. Cuphead, Mugman, Goopy, Kahl, most of the female chars, and that smooth-ass King Dice all hang on to great 1930s motifs in their design…something right alongside Dick Tracy, The Mask, and Cool World that fits in with the Swing Revival of the 80s and 90s.
I’m the game he’s rather cute when he’s pretending to be nice, and when he does community service, but in the video he looks just as insane as his real persona.
I can see the second Baroness Von Bon Bon, the first Rumor Honeybottons, and the first Cala Maria functioning as a sort of sub-boss to the Devil, like his regents who oversee the realms within his mystical castle. Rumor and Bon Bon would embody the Blue Oni, Red Oni trope, and Cala would be an almost unwilling ally who becomes the strongest when angered or outraged and turns into her gorgon form. Her backstory could be that she and Brinybeard were lovers who were transformed into their current form when they wondered into the castle, and Briny’s been trying to reunite with her ever since.
Honestly I love the designs for chalice they remind me a lot of when I watched return to oz, when the ending coronation scene came on. I would say my top three are Dice, Cala Maria, and the Chalice designs. But I overall love the idea of this.
Realistic Cuphead is probably the scariest thing I've ever seen. If he was there in real life, I'd probably think I accidentally watched a cursed video 7 days prior and think "well, this is the end."
