I'd like to say first thank you for the video it was very helpful. All up to the part where you reverse the order of a washer and snap ring index: 20:57 this caused me a huge headache try to figure out what gears where hitting when you spun the front universal in low. You put the washer down first, then the snap ring, then the needle bearing. Per Polaris at that point the snap ring goes first then the washer then the needle bearing and gear. Your way that gear has an extra 1/8" slop up and down. This was contacting the shift slide when it should not making a huge clicking sound when spun causing potential damage. Everyone can make mistakes, but if you going to make a "How Too" on a rather costly gear job, please double check your work.
Thank you for Commenting this!! I have mine apart right as we speak cause I was having a terrible sounding clank when I was in low range after my Gear Reduction. I went over everything multiple times trying to figure out what was causing it, but everything seemed to check out fine. I’ll be checking mine tonight and hopefully that is my problem.
Before he installed high gear he installed the shim, clip, bearing, high gear, shim, clip.. it should of went clip, shim, bearing, high gear, shim, clip
Good video! Very informative! But please dispense with the obnoxious noise in the background. I know some people might call it music, but it’s ridiculous and distracting to say the least!!

Bingo. The THIRD time I pulled the trans out of the rzr trying to figure out what was wrong, I realized the video describes it wrong.

Before you tighten down the inner clutch box it’s best to use a clutch alignment tool
