@@Yuzu69420 can you do a vid showing your technique? I struggle with streams cause my ring longer than my index (yes im ring index gamer too) but it seems like you have your ring on a the middle row and index on the bottom one
@@neonxpa5141 I could try doing some kind of showcase on my playstyle, sure. In written form though, my keys are A and C, distance is slightly further than a single key gap, (imagine A and D as the ideal key distance for ring/index players but a bit more) and usually when playing your hand would be on an angle as well. If anyone actually plays with their hand perpendicular to the monitor, its because their body is actually positioned more to the right, so it would also helps that with the keys arranged on an angle, you aren't stressing your hand to tap keys that are actually straight forward. In particular this also helps with streams, you aren't relying solely on fingers to do a stream when playing with a ring/index playstyle, there is some clear arm movement in the video (and my others !) as well (This 'movement' is actually just my arm rotating, try it for yourself, you'll notice that rotating your hand is much faster and less straining than moving just your fingers). That arm movement actually doesn't put as much stress on your fingers when streaming, so realistically you would be able to stream for much longer (think Dragonforce maps, lionheart, etc.) and not be as sore after. Best example is at 2:05, it's a bit hard to see but you can notice that my hand is lifted a bit, and a lot more arm movement is present. Hopefully this wall of text helps, one niche that I have is that my pinky sticks out (A LOT, you notice it a lot more as well in some of my taiko liveplays) and in much longer streams (don't think I have any good examples) my thumb tucks itself on my palm. But obviously, my playstyle is not yours, so experiment and find something that suits you :)
I take back what I said about arm perpendicular to monitor=body offsetted to the right. A way around this is the keyboard is more to the left, so it's not as bad. My points still stand though c:
nice play
Do you play with ring?
index ring gamer, it's a lot easier to stream with than index and middle
