New Zealand never hesitated to invite Bangladesh unlike Australia, England, South Africa did. Despite not winning any games in NZ they kept inviting us. Their board has absolutely no ego. So they are like a brother to Bangladesh Cricket Board. Thankful for their support. Ebadot, Shariful and Taskin have been outstanding. So have been our batsmen.
It's not a matter of invitation, it was scheduled by ICC for the upcoming test championship.

They only make cricket schedule where India England and Australia will play 15tests so players of their countries can make cricket records and have series of 4 to 5test matches. Bangladesh on the otherhand play hardly 4to 5 tests per year.
Then when Bangladesh don't play well they call us minnows or plastic tigers of Mirpur.
I hope oneday for their misdeeds they are punished by God. I hope people who runs ICC are punished for being so corrupted.

Historical day indeed 🇧🇩 Before this match no one ever could imagine, Bangladesh would beat New Zealand ( Test Championship champion) in their backyard. However, History has been made, Bangladesh has won the match comprehensively by 8 wickets. To be jotted down one more thing, New Zealand was invincible for Asian cricket teams before this match, because since 2011 any of the Asian cricket team couldn't win over New Zealand in test Cricket in their own soil, meanwhile Bangladesh team has changed it. To put it in context, Bangladesh had only won 1 away test from 44 against the big 7 before today, that too against a weakened Sri Lanka side in spinning conditions. Against the other big 6 teams (except SL), their away record before this game was: Played 29, Lost 29.
This is the most significant milestone in cricket since perhaps Sri Lanka winning the World Cup in 1996. Well done to Bangladesh.

New Zealand is true gem in international cricket history. They kept reciprocal series on even though the battle of bat and ball between these two teams stayed one-way road. Where other teams hesitate to invite Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Pakistan never had that route to follow. So the way they want to play with all teams and hating the polarization is really lovable and holds the true spirit of the game.

I still remember Bangladesh's first NZ tour. I wasn't about 10-11 at the time. The rain washed away half the series and we had still lost the matches. Many good fights since then, and just as many big defeats. This is a sweet win. And to do it without Shakib, Tamim and Fizz. Extra special! A complete victory, leaving no question about who was the better team for all 5 days.
If we can be a bit critical and hardly there's anything to be critical about. But had we held our catches, this ends up being a Inning defeat, which is what this team deserved. Outplayed their "final boss"

Well to frankly speaking hagley oval has the most toughest pitch in the new zealand which is totally covered by grass, moistures. So it would be a bit hard for us to play a good cricket. But still we want a great match
