I think Cascada is the more surprising one for me. I know they're German, and Everytime We Touch was huge in Germany. However, watching a bunch of metalheads, (who seem pride themselves on being rather elitist and shunning other forms music that isn't strictly 'metal') sing along to Everytime We Touch and knowing every word was rather amusing.
I have been watching a lot of live shows of this guys on youtube, it seems I have a new one to the collection. I swear that watching an Electric Callboy live show just makes your day better automatically, this guys are nothing but a good time. I am glad this guys always have a good mix too!

Literally the only concert where it's not surprising to see a bunch of metalheads: - Constantly listen to sex jokes - Melt from Kawaii shit - Sing Every Time We Touch, Let It Go and the I Want It That Way from top of their lungs and Happy Birthday to a kid in the crowd - Kiss the homie to show them your appreciation - Dance to german schlager - Imitate turkey, hentai and fart noises - Have heart confettis everywhere - Do the kan kan - Have a dedicated workout/pumping session - And still absolutely crash the moshpit and shake the fucking earth from synchronized jumping All while listening to some of the the most ridiculous, fun and heavy metal songs ever. I fucking love this band.
Because of their tongue-in-cheek lyrics and imagery, it's so easy to underestimate how serious these guys are as musicians.💪But it's got to be the tighest of the most fun bands out there, and the most fun among the tightest! 🔥
Thank you for this Upload! When I found out that Electric Callboy is playing on RaR I just called a friend of mine at thursday, only 1 day before the Festival started, and asked him if he wants to go there with me. Surprisingly he said yes and we drove all the way to the Ring just to see them. We were standing right in the first block and had the time of our lifes! This was epic and its nice that we can see this performance all over again so that we can say "do you remember? We were right there!" a big THANK YOU to Electric Callboy and Rock am Ring!
Looks like i'm not the only one that decided to attend last minute. Friday evening i took a 24h bus-train-RARshuttle trip there and back to Slovenia, since going to the nurburgring with my modified car twice in a month would be simply irattionally expensive on fuel. 48h of public transport for less that that spent on event. Still needles to say it was nuts and i had a blast!
It's because it's simple. And I don't mean that in any bad way whatsoever; you've heard about the kiss principle, right?? No complexities, just really catchy music. Playing simple songs also means that you can jam and party much harder without duffing notes or worrying about what you're playing so much. I love these guys! I can't wait to see them if they ever do a UK tour!
I'm sad I couldn't travel to Germany for this, but I'm so glad it was recorded and that those who were able to attend brought such great energy to the event. Watching brought me so many smiles
I am blown away to see 150,000 people having a great time with Electric Callboy; so happy for them, they deserve this so much! A year ago I saw them at Brooklyn Bowl with a few hundred people, and they gave the same energetic, amazing show. No one deserves this elation more than Electric Callboy. Ratatata was AMAZING!!!!
Can 100% confirm! They used to play everywhere back when they started and they always gave it their all. Their production level has gone way up but the blood, sweat and tears are the same 🤘🏻
Attendance for the whole festival was 80k so even less in front of the stage. Still a lot, but no idea where you took that 150k from. Actually they played in front of the biggest crowd of their career last weekend at the Pol'and'Rock Festival.
@@ThePantoffelI misunderstood a German interview from a different video. There were 150,000 at both festivals combined, as there’s apparently two parts of Rock am Ring running simultaneously. I can only understand some German.
@@DrPogo88 Yeah it's Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. The Pol'and'Rock Festival they played at last weekend has no official information on the attendance, but newspapers say it was close to 700.000.
I remember in 2005 when a lot of students of our class went to RaR! Some left on Wednesday during school all with the same excuse (their grandma died). I had managed to organize a car even though I had no driver's license and with total greenhorn drivers we drove all the way, got there and had a blast! We had the best time of our friends, some of our classmates having troubled times but all was forgotten during RaR! Amazing times! Later on drive there with my wife only to be asked every 2 minutes if I sell drugs (I've been asked for ANYTHING). I don't know to this day if there is a universal sign but something along my car, appearance and attitude made me a possible drug dealer 😂
Electric Callboy better get some rest soon. They have been non stop this year, and you can tell Nico and Kevin are exhausted and their voices are not 100% but that will not stop them from kicking ass and giving EVERYTHING. Can’t wait for new music!! This performance was incredible 🔥🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻 #RockAmRing
Really though! I've seen them live twice, once last year and once this year, and Nico really does not sound as good as he did the year before, as much as i hate to say it. I hope he gets some real time off to recover and has a good vocal coach to help him.

Three things that continue to amaze me…1) The work BabyMetal puts in is insane 2) Electric Callboy have some of the best sound engineers on the planet, their live shows are ALWAYS top notch quality 3) The amount of people at this show is genuinely nuts

I had the opportunity to watch they playing in Toronto this year, and I can say, ellectric callboy got on my top 3 best concerts ever with iron maiden and metallica. If you had the opportunity, strongly recomend to go!
