- Few teams prioritize athleticism the way Brian Gutekunst's Packers do. That means what happens in Indy definitely does not stay in Indy (but this safety class might want to). What players the Packers might have their eye on helped themselves the most? And who went the other way?

Absolutely agree that protecting Love should be the Prime Directive - he looks awesome when he's protected.
HAHAH Hauling epic levels of ass had me rolling
Not a Rakestraw guy myself. They have to try to get McKinney in free agency to address safety. That will free them up to do a little more of BPA strategy in the draft.
Would not be surprised at all if they trade back from 25th pick
hearing the value in the draft is 20-80, so to pick up a high 3rd rounder it may make sense.
Estime tested well in vert and broad jump. Will be good in short yardage. No breakaway speed, which is what we saw in college.
Tre benson running a 4.39 at almost 220lbs is pretty eye opening. I could see him being a packer if Allen is off the board earlier than expected. I think Allen maybe a early 2nd round pick.
allen is round 3 at best, I see him as day 3 most likely.
Allen is a future bust. Benson is the best back in the draft.
My favorite safties in this draft are the two from Georgia, Bullard and Smith. Both have good tape and testing
Combine showed us there are a lot of extremely fast WR's and fast RB's in this draft. Some of the DB's ran slower than we wanted but that could be a bit deceiving. Evaluation of game tape is a must and I want a WR if we can get one in the 1st rd especially if one slips down to us
The one guy that caught my attention was Sione Vaki, that dude can play offense, defense, and special teams!! Not an early round guy, but of all the guys I watched the last 3 days....he's a baller!! If the Packers have as great a draft this year on defense as they did on offense last year I wouldn't be surprised....it's a deep draft on defense IMHO!!
Why in the absolute hell are we even thinking about taking a WR near the top of the draft? WR is the biggest non-need at the top of this draft. If someone was a dynamo PR I could see it at the end, but WTF is the only thing I can say to the idea of WR at the top.
Kinchens bombed at the combine, I was surprised how poorly he did. RB Isaac Guerendo from Louisville posted a 9.98 RAS.
He is apparently healthier when not playing football.
Isaac😊
I would say the year Gutey drafted Dillon and Degura as high as he did was by far his worst draft. Let's hope for the right guys this year.
I think LaFleur fell in love with Deguara based on that one play where he chased a runner down from a long distance. Impressive play showing great effort, but he was overdrafted by a couple rounds or so. And A.J. probably should have been a fourth rounder. I think they drafted A.J. because they were determined to get more physical after the 49ers pounded them in the playoffs. I also believe they were worried about Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams both leaving in free agency that following season.
This is what we need. We need another elite lineman to add to an ascending group. We need a safety and cornerback. A running back to back up Jonesy and take over for him later. And a linebacker to team up with Quay
Similar to how my mocks keep ending up. I keep trying for Cooper Dejean but he is always gone at 25.
I’d like to see them take Quinyon Mitchell he has the maturity and focus
"He has a soft tissue injury, so he's a Packer already." 😂
Nickel-wise, Melton killed the combine, but if I were to add combine and Senior Bowl together, I'd say Phillips is the more impressive.
Need Olinemen,I don’t care what fans want we alll know a huge reason for Rodgers great success is cause of his amazing OLINES he’s played with.Which is EVERY Young QBs need.Look at Loves year once the Oline settled down and played MUCH better in the second half, his play did as well.BLOCK for that young man and allow him to be great
Sometimes great decisions need to be made even when your line isn’t doing well. That separates great from good.. I don’t trust Love out the pocket, and his deep ball needs a lot of improvement..Caleb Williams already has these traits.. and it’s sum of the best we’ve ever seen
@@808bap I like QB's that don't cry in their mommas arms after a loss.
I'm not drafting Jenkins in the first round when we got him in the second.
They are more then likely drafting an O-Linemen in first with Bahk and others potentially leaving
Cooper DeJean looks a bit like Nixon on highlights tape, if we are moving forward.
I'm amazed how people are now fawning over some players who don't have any film to back up their athletic traits. There is a fine line a GM needs to walk to keep from looking at the RAS and then convincing themselves that those traits are far more important than their film. Sometimes that can be the case but it's far too often that people go out of their way it ignore reality. Mike Mamula and Naomi Campbell syndrome.
I dont care what Kinchens 40 time was. Put on the tape. The kid can fly. Hes regularly the fastest guy on the field.
He definitely plays faster. I'm a bigger fan of Nubin but either one would be good
Day 3
aye that means we could get him at 57 which frees up the other two picks up for oline nd linebacker. if we can get burton, edgrin cooper at 25 nd 41 nd come up with kinchens at 57 would be great
@@kodyzahrte I like Nubins all around play better, but hes not fast enough to be a deep 1/3 safety in the NFL. Kinchens has that range tho. Nubins strikes me as more of a box safety or dime linebacker.
@@ericgolke9530 Lol thats not happening. Kyle Hamilton ran a 4.59 and was still a top 20 pick. Kinchens' 40 time will likely cause him to fall, but not to day 3.
Trey Benson, Wright!
They didn't move Josh Jackson to safety bc you have to be a willing tackler to play SAFETY.
Eddie Lacey in his prime... yeah, Id take that.
Packers shouldn't draft anybody at 25 that can't beat out a bad Sean Rhyan at guard.
Your intro is one minute and 25 seconds of Hell on Earth - Good content after, but sheesh. Go back and listen - REALLY? Actually, do what you want, but your looooong intro reminds me of the guy who announces the Nathan's Hot Dog Earing Contest for some reason......and I like that guy......anyway 45 seconds sound be enough to get rocking.... feel free to ignore.
I wouldn’t even mess around cause teams know (especially your rivals)know who u need will trade with other teams to jump u and take the player u want so I’d be all over Wright or Benson at 41,cause trust me then two men WILL be gone and if Estime falls to the forth I’d jump on him on a heart beat.Watch his tape he literally has long speed and has out run players, but I agree them numbers were a dam nightmare for him
All these guys with their mock draft and they continue to put an offensive lineman as the number one Pick. I just don't see it. I will be shocked if they do.
Why is everyone talking about Darnell Savage as if he's some All Pro Safety that's about to hit the market. Is this not the same missed-tackle machine who can't cover TEs that we've witnessed for the past 5 years???
Next, we're gonna start hearing how AJ Dillon was a nice "power back."
Ypu know if im good and dont want to go to a s... team i prabobly take it easy at combine to fall on purpose and go to a better team hopefully. Sure maybe little less money at signing but you betting on yourself and if you know your a baller you make it up in a long run amd you aint stuck playing for Bear type team.
Let's gooo
We need a safety more than anything and u didn’t even draft one?
He said how the safeties this year are thin and will likely want to spend in free agency during the video lol
With the 25th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select…..
Wouldn't be surprised to hear Graham Barton or Troy Fantanu
Move back.
Edgerrin Cooper.
@@kennethhammondthat’s what I think happens, too.
Elijah Jones, CB Boston College...
No Duke Player, PLEASE!
Blake Corum should be on GBs radar!
no too small
@GiuseppeJoseph same size as Barry Sanders/ Emmitt Smith / Bigger than Darren Sproles just stop! That small guy has the best vision/ Most TDs in Michigan History and breaks long runs and is the master at short yardage which is GBs biggest weakness...
I hope Jonathan brooks fall to us in the 3rd round
NO. STOP WITH THE LINEMAN IN THE 1ST RND TALK!!!!! With the Packers' ability to develop lineman it's wasted advantage. D backfield, pass rusher or WR are the only positions we should be considering in the 1st. We NEED a WR in a high round to keep Love fed and to push the room. RB in the first if A.Jones leaves.
Braelon Allen couldn't have had a worse day, didn't run, wasn't in most of the drills, and the ones he was in dropped all but ONE pass!! He might be as big a girl as Watson! Pathetic!! Guerendo couldn't make the field behind the girl, Allen!! I hope and pray AJ Dillon comes back, the dude gives his all and when it was money time he was there when Jones was out!!
You can’t go back to back OL with first 2 picks man… this one wasn’t your best work
Guyton is a good athlete. That's it. Watch the tape. He's not a good football player and will be another future bust. MarShawn Lloyd is fast and he's a decent receiver, however, he has terrible vision, tries to bounce all his runs outside and he has an awful fumbling problem.
Right now the packrs roster is this
1. No one in the Safety room
2. Questions at Corner mainly Eric Stokes and a aging Jaire
3. 1 starting caliber LB
4. A aging Aaron Jones
5. A defense which hasn't stopped the run in the past 15 years
And you double down on Ol and so so cornes early ( I like Jarrian 4th round). I guess its Jordan Love and the practice squad on D.
Bro you eat cheese you don't short it. In your world the Packers better put up 48 every game
I've been on the Jaylen Wright train for the last year. I've always liked him. I don't like him anymore for Green Bay.........I LOVE HIM!
He's Aaron Jones 2.0 with even more size and more explosive. Right down to his running style. I've watched a ton of tape on him and it's like watching Aaron in a Vols jersey.
I wouldn't even be pissed if we said "F'K IT!" and grabbed him at 41. If he's even there. Shit I'd be thrilled if they took him at 25.
Braelon Allen is the most overrated in the entire draft. Most Packers fans are Badgers fans, as am I. Unfortunately, Allen is going to be a huge bust. He's too slow, terrible agility, injury concerns and his fumble rate is alarming. Allen fumbled on average every 66 carries. Take off the Badger goggles. Allen is not that good.
I say go with Jones/Dillon one more time. I like Dillon.
Coming from a packers fan, yall better stop sleeping on a qb like Caleb who is clearly a better player coming out of college than Jlove .. if the bears actually draft around him😭🤦🏾♂️..Jlove might end up bein jay cutler if he don’t fix his decision making and deep accuracy. And tbh is that even gonna be enough to deal with a guy who has Patrick mahomes Aaron Rodgers type arm talent?
Stop with this nonsense. Nobodys scared of that dress wearing, nail painting, crybaby.
Lol
Bears have essentially zero track record of developing QBs. I’m sure Caleb is a better QB coming out of college than Tom Brady.
@@Nater9-9 and I’m pretty sure u have no idea there coaching staff got way better and they aren’t a bad team outside of DB, WR, Pass rusher, and OL.. but keep sleepin.. yea Caleb Williams is a horrible football player😂🤦🏾♂️
I like QB's that don't cry in their mommas arms after a loss.
Rb from SC man he tested well, but now lets set the game in shorts to the side for a minute. As an SC fan he is a fumble machine and as well out of the back field can catch good ,but also them butter fingers set in more times then ones liking.Do they want to go with a guy who has serious fumble issues in a cold state where that rock becomes literally a rock 😂.Don’t know tough call, but in the 80s guess it’s a pick u can chance🫤
