@@wyteepowers4638I don’t think she was Jewish, just like Valerie Harper who played Rhoda wasn’t Jewish. You sound like a real anti-Semite. Most actors and other employees in Hollywood are not Jewish.

Apart from on "the Nanny", I always thought she was brilliant on the Dick van Dyke Show as "Millie". The one scene I have never been able to find is when she exclaim "Jerry is horrible! Isn't he horrible? Laura, isn't he horrible?" (or something like that). I was amused when she was featured, as when she bleached Laura's brown hair to blonde and then tried to change it back before Rob got home, and when she brought all that stuff she had "borrowed " from the Petries (when the Petries thought they had been robbed by a guest)...the character was so 1960s-Jewish...

Lovely. Millie is my favorite character on The DVD Show. Her comic timing, physicality, and depth of character is always fascinating to watch. Carl Reiner commented about what a great dramatic actress she was as well. Her artistry will live on. Thanks for this.

ya..the music is unnessarally dreadful. Its not as though she got cheated in years of life when alive, she lived until 87.
