Showmanship and sportsmanship are two different categories. If the lack thereof a handshake (sportsmanship) was enough to rattle the other team's showmanship it's unfortunate. It should never boil down to how you react, it should always be about how a team recovers or in the losing team efforts on how they will regroup for next year.
I kinda differ on facial expressions and making faces. Smiles shows confidence, winks displays eye contact, blowing of kisses offers a personal touch but having your tongue out is something to get used too.
