Bei dieser Bahn, habe ich ein lachendes und ein weinendes Auge. Zum einen freue ich mich für den Ort, dass die Aufstiegshilfe in so schwierigen Zeiten erhalten bleibt bzw. neu gebaut worden ist. Außerdem ist es eine sehr hübsche, bequem und auch sichere Bahn, welche bestimmt sehr viel Freude macht. Zum anderen jedoch, geht die Charakteristik und der Charme der alten Bahn verloren. Ich musste mir direkt ein Video des Vorgängers anschauen und vermisse die Einzigartigkeit. Die Fachwerkstützen der alten Bergbahn waren spektakulär, dies wird jetzt durch die neue bauen im Einheitsallerlei verschwinden, ist aber wahrscheinlich nicht anders zu machen. Des weiteren vermisse ich zumindest an der Bergstation eine schützende Umhausung, wie wir es von den älteren Bahnen kennen. Bei den neueren Bahnen wird darauf weitgehend verzichtet. Für mich immer ein Zufluchtsort bei plötzlich einsetzendem Regen, eine Schutzraum zu haben, beim Warten auf die nächste freie Gondel Alles in allem, eine sehr fortschrittliche schöne und neue Bahn. Ich wünsche den Bürgern von Saas Fee viel Freude mit ihrer neuen Errungenschaft. Seit 50 Jahren bin ich bereits Gast im Saastal und habe die Veränderungen mitbekommen. Angefangen in den siebziger Jahren als Kleinkind konnte ich dank meinen Eltern dieses faszinierende Tal bereits damals kennenlernen. Danke das es so einen wunderbaren Ort gibt, auch wenn der ursprüngliche Charme an vielen Stellen weichen musste.
There's nothing good about modern lifts. This one does more harm than good honestly, all modern 10-MGD's do. Waste of material, waste of electricity as it requires more materials to make than any Giovanola lift ever would have done as the modern designs are more complicated, this lift caused a HELL of a lot of deforestation in Saas Fee, whereas the original had literally almost no deforestation at all, and it is also WIDER than the Giovanola, all of these factors contribute to MORE CO2 POLLUTION WHICH WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT, and the manufacturers use the mechanical design of the modern lifts to lobby governmental authorities to impose these tyrannical regulations which say to either obey the modern lift manufacturers and replace your lifts or not operate any ski lifts at all, all under the disguise of safety as well, yet the old systems never have any accidents caused by any parts of their mechanical design at all. These "Anti-Historische-Seilbahn" laws are just the Federal Transport Office of Shitzerland(yes I said SHITzerland) looking for minor defects in the old ski lifts which DON'T affect their general safety to then exploit them, impose new regulations with the modern manufacturers, and make money from being paid the revenue of which the manufacturers of them modern lifts have generated through their bigger sale of modern lifts... and more and more forced destruction of old lifts. And the authorities and businessmen just tell us to get jobs and not have the time to do the actual research into ski lift safety without relying on any so-called "experts" who are paid by the modern lift manufacturers to tell these lies that only end in them making more and more money, more and more environmental pollution, and more corporate impunity and tyranny. Nobody should ever have relied on centralized food, water and electricity sources. If we didn't, we wouldn't be relying on companies to finance our living expenses, and nor would we be relying on companies to provide any of these things, therefore they wouldn't be able to use our employment as a means of forcing what they want upon everyone else, and we'd have the time, money, and energy to do research into things ourselves without and businessmen or authorities trying to talk us out of doing so because we wouldn't be getting jobs which are too time-consuming and underpaying to allow us to have the time to do more things on our own.
Ich freue mich für Saas-Fee. Die Hannig ist ein sehr beliebtes Ausflugsziel. Wir sind jedes Jahr in Saas-Fee. Letztes Jahr wanderten wir dann halt beide Wege, hinauf u. hinunter 😊. Dieses Jahr dürfen wir wieder hinauf fahren. Da meine Mama in diesem schönen Bergdorf geboren ist, kenne ich mich dort sehr gut aus. Dieses Bergdorf hat sich sehr gewandelt und es gefällt mir. Gegenüber Zermatt herrscht in Saas-Fee gottseidank nicht dieser übertrieben orientierte Kommerz. Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf unsere Ferien Ende August in Saas-Fee.
