Wonderful to "walk" with you in this way, Tanya. I so appreciate this video. I did genetic counseling but stalled out before doing the testing for BRCA because I don't have life insurance yet. Brca1+ here-my onco surgeon and plastic surgeon said with brca1 it’s not a matter of if you will get Breast cancer it’s when and they told me 80% chance of cancer with the Brca genes.

For sure the treatment for BRCA1 positive is different - your onco is right. I tested negative for all the cancer genes they know of. Maybe someday they will discover mine…
