I always preferred the more frantic pacing of the original too slow, without making the latter half too melodic, because even if it's fun for BF, surely Sonic.exe's aim is to scare the player. I think you captured the vibe I'm looking for much more effectively than any other remix I've heard!

There's alt animation notes, it's in the debug menu where you find the hurt notes, and other notes that are pre-existing, or put in custom note types in the mods folder
Hev Bf, and Zero (I think Zero idfk) both have alt animations for notes
If you're looking for the bf idle where hit hat is flipped forward, I have no idea how to do that.
Idk if this would help, I've never modded anything before, I just like exploring the debug menu sometimes.
