In this video we unbox a brand new Cybex Coya, show what's inside the box, and give instructions for assembly.

Who would like to sit at a 45° angle? I know I wouldn't. I can't imagine that that position is comfortable or desirable for a young child past the age of 9 months. They wanna see what's going on around them. I almost feel like I would find a more practical and innovative ultra-compact among Cybex's Gold Line 🙈 Though it's really cool that the Coya fits well within the IATA guidelines for a change

I don’t think the seatback is fully upright when delivered. We went to check this model at a local store the other day and I wasn’t left with an impression of the seating angle differing drastically from Butterfly or Yoyo2, two models we did some side-by-side comparisons with.
Anyhow, we ordered this travel cart (from another store) as the folded dimensions are as small or smaller than Yoyo, the one-hand tightening of the harness should prove useful and especially because of the possibility to remove the backrest padding: having the toddler lean against breathable mesh-netting should prove invaluable during hot summer travels. Unsurprisingly, the handling of this cart felt good and nimble, especially when loaded with a 15kg weight-sack.
There were a few things I wasn’t overly impressed with. The styling of the faux leather handlebar is very Cybexesque (i.e. gaudy) and the seat padding is a bit unimpressive (next to Butterfly) - on the other hand, the canopy fabric is very substantial and proper (again next to Butterfly).
As the Butterfly appeared a bit big and clunky and as it wasn’t a pleasure to push and turn in ways one might expect to do in crowded places and indoors and as we missed a recent discount on Yoyo2 and as I detest paying the full price for something that was available for a lot less mere weeks ago, our only real other option was Joolz Aer+ - which isn’t available in stores locally.
Our Coya should be here early next week. I’ll post more impressions in the comments section of the upcoming review video. Thank you for your helpful uploads, The Stroller Workshop!

@@drewanstore5550 And thank you for sharing your experience. ♥ I can't wait to watch The Stroller Workshop's review. I've learned so much from this channel, especially concerning the mechanical aspects and maintenance of a stroller.
Btw, the angled backrest bugs me in general with these ultra compacts, it's not just Cybex Coya. ;)

@@Marina-zb2iz Thank you and I agree with you 100% - the knowledge on mechanical aspects they share on this channel is invaluable and unique, others don't talk about such issues... And this was also why we were hesitant to purchase a cart before seeing The Stroller Workshop review it. 😅
