I started watching videos on the Fujitsubo Legalis R after I saw your comment and I think this is the one! It’s not too much louder than stock which is exactly what I’m wanting. Thank you.
I had an A'pexi Worldsport 2 exhaust on my B-series swap, and loved it so much, I put one on my K-series Si as well! It was one of the more subtle exhausts available at the time. I too was none too interested in having a flashy, snap-crackle-popping exhaust, and it absolutely fit the bill with minimal drone. Check it out if it's not too hard to find nowadays!
The WS2 was also on my list of exhausts! I thought the HKS Hi Power Dual would be it but after watching tons of videos, I deemed it too loud for my taste.
Getting rid of the WRX was smart. I can tell you from personal experience that once stuff starts going south on a modded WRX it usually isn’t worth the headache. I had to learn that the hard way.
Definitely! I try to order directly from them to support their business. They do some great work and I’m bummed they’re all the way across the county from me.
@@ronfromportland the AP2 gearbox was really good, fixed all the problems from the AP1. Only thing I've heard is to shift it gently until it warms up. I saw your Instagram post about future plans for it. My best advice is to just leave it stock and learn how to drive it, before you start messing with anything in the suspension. You shouldn't raise the handling limits of a car until you have fully mastered the limits in stock form. This is what I did when I had my FR-S, and I'm glad I did because it taught me so much about RWD car control. The absolute most I'd do is stickier tires and brake pads, and a cold air intake so you can really hear that engine scream.
@@Jaime7188 definitely will take it slow with this one. Tires have been swapped and I’m currently looking into a nice set of brakes. I want to learn the car before doing anything else. I still can’t get used to the fact that I can rev it passed 7K 😂
@@ronfromportland I think counter space garage makes pads for that car, or project mu is also good. It's definitely amazing to rev past 7k+ highest revving engine I've ever experienced was a B16 going to 8500
Congrats on your dream car, hope you enjoy it and do what you’d like to it, it’s timeless even if you keep it the same way it came. Good luck hope you still post even if it’s just maintenance or small here and there things to fix on it. Enjoyed your videos and learned more about my wrx thanks to you.
Thank you. Great question! I don’t have enough experience with the STi to be able to provide an answer. It’s virtually a different car from the WRX, sad I never got to own one but there’s always the future 🤙
Nice car, gonna be sweet with top down come summer. I would focus on a security system to prevent car from being stolen, it doesn't take much time once you walk away and leave it in a parking lot. Car theft is at a all time high. Also I agree in keep engine stock.. Suspension, exhaust is the way to go. the tires you just got are nice, I use the same on my 2018 FXT, PNW weather can be a bugger. Washington State is where I am at.
Congrats man!!! The S2000 will be a really neat car to enjoy driving around as well as a car to push on some back roads. Too bad to see the WRX go but I know you made a good decision. Enjoy it man.
You got such a mint one man!! Congratulations!! Always had a soft spot for these. Smart man to be flushing all those fluids right away. You can never be too safe with used cars 😅
Congrats! I was on the same boat a couple of weeks ago. I ended up missing out because I couldn't make up my mind. Excited to see what you do with the S2K! - PinoyWRX
Watching you time and time again deal with those AFR issues got me wondering when you will let go of that wrx. Don’t get me wrong, I have/like my wrx and it’s a similar setup from yours, but it makes me think of the future. Congrats on the “new” ride! That is a nice find ✌🏼
Mature old man build, I'm like the poster child for that lol. Good stuff man, I understand this completely after 20 years on the same platform with the Subie. I'm having a hard time not looking for something different. I've personally considered an S2K amongst others as well. Hope you enjoy it to it's fullest, it looks mint 💪
Ohlins DFV only coilovers for the s2k. Exhaust is up to your preference of dual/single but id say look into Fujitsubo

💯 yes. Honda. S2K! Wait...so are you going to miss the 4 doors?
Not if I drive the Outback 😃
Sweet!

Such a clean example of an S2000. This is a car I still have never driven, and wish I could.
I’m still learning it but so far, it handles pretty well for being stock. The gearbox though 🤌

Congratulations on your AP2. As much I love my 20 WRX, I still want an Evo 8/9 or something rare to find.
Thank you 🙏! Evos are sweet!

Congrats man thing is clean and super low miles! Excited to see what you do with it
Thanks a bunch man! Looking forward to learning this car!

Yes, for sure! It’s scary how many cars are getting stolen in the PNW. If you have any recommendations on some security systems, let me know!
