- We have been collecting different Bulgarian snacks as we have been walking around the shops here in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. Let's give them a taste test and try to translate exactly what they all are. Including one which looks like it is fresh off an operating table!

Hi Dan, a weird one this, but your right hands middle finger seems to bend in slightly. Not sure if you have heard of Dupuytren’s contracture. I’ve had it in both hands and had surgery to rectify it. I may be totally wrong on this but might be worth just checking it out. Nothing to worry about, I’m just drawn to your bendy middle finger when we watch you guys. 🤪👍
The second last selection tray reminded me of the nut selection trays we see in the shops in the UK at Christmas.
I imagine a fig roll is very much like fig newton's that we have in America.
Exactly the same except for the crust on a fig newton is a bit softer,
But what would you call it a biscuit or a cookie? I'd call it a biscuit lol
@@jonobrien1339 i would call it a cookie. To me a biscuit is something served with a meal such as lunch or dinner/supper. Or breakfast maybe such as an egg and cheese bisquit.

Loved this....but I don't think I could take all that sugar at 10.15am.....you two really do put yourselves out for us😂 they looked amazing picky bits in that platter and you mentioned halva in the list of ingredients in the last one. That's sesame seeds but it looked very different to the halva here in the UK. Thanks so much for this Bulgarian taste test video❤

Interesting vid, I had never given much thought to snack foods in other countries. That thing that looked like rope near the end was quite something....well done for even trying it!
