My sister was 20 years older than her husband. Nobody was for this marriage and everyone thought it would never work.. she was 41 and he was 21 when they got married. She passed away at 71 he is 51. They were married 30 years and yes they had a few bumps in the road but they did have a very successful and happy marriage.

I’ve seen a Psychologist and it turned out that I was dealing with my issues in the ways he was going to advise me to, before he could even advise me to. Sometimes the best thing for a person is to really acknowledge it and then work through it by making different decisions or changing the way you think about things. Takes soul searching and rational thinking more than anything. I think part of the problem is that we get too caught up in our emotions which, naturally, raises our anxiety. Sometimes the best you can do is take a step back and view yourself from an outsiders perspective.
