I don't think it could be said with certainty that it's been hit or repaired. I've seen assembly line pictures with stainless trim aligned just as bad. Also they would marry an entire front clip to the body as they rolled down the line, and could explain the tight gaps at the front of the doors. Bumper wings were not always checked and installed to be parallel to the 'mustache' chrome at the front corners of the fenders.
This car was offered for sale by a dealer in upstate New York. My guess is he couldn't sell it and probably let it go at an auction which is where Coyote may have picked it up. Regardless, looks like a nice '58.
It is a very beautiful car but the trimming isn't nothing as you can see the trim on the door is higher than the trim going back further so I think it was repainted because it didn't come that way from the factory
Driver's side door gap between the fender is too tight front end has been damaged and poor fit on replacement. Chevy Never painted fuel lines or vacuum lines, mounting brackets, throttle linkage, or heater hoses under the hood. Overspray yes but sloppy paint like that NO! I can be critical I had one new. Yes it presents well for a low mileage vehicle but this bad boy has been hit and body work is questionable. A closer look is in store before purchase.
My favorite body style 58 impala.
Beautiful car
Wow, nice car ❤
That is beautiful
I’d love an impala exactly like this, but the price is menacing.

drove one in high school, with 4 on the floor.

Hi is this car still for sale?
How do you know the price? I tried to look the car up on the Coyote site and could not find
it was sold many years ago. It was a super nice original impala.

You are right I think the car has had 1 repaint. Almost everything else is original.
👍👍👍
how many times can you say original in a video? Beautiful car tho!!!
You called it an original paint car and in the comments admitted to it having 1 repaint. Which is it?
