Love it, my mate and me were out spectating on the whole event including the finish. Brings back good memories, we started spectating on the RAC rally in 76 right up to 2001 when Richard burns won the world rally championship, we went on most of the British rally championship in those years as well. Although I don't get out much now and only went the new WRC rally wales a few years back, I most like to watch historic rallying now. But at 68 years of age I've seen lots of changes on the RAC some good some not so good because of rule changes, but I still have found memories of travelling up and down the country spectating and unlike most we used to watch most of the crews come though and not just the top 10. Hard to think when it was the Lombard RAC rally it was about 10 shillings to get in the forest per car, even if four people in the car! Thanks for bringing back all these old videos.
My first-ever rally experience! Bunked off school - missing higher English prelims - in order to watch Ae Forest stage. Freezing cold, wind and rain - and memories that will last a lifetime. Will never see this like again. Thanks for posting this!
