1. Maybe you should think about utilising the Gateway to Arabic textbooks also for modern Arabic fluency and conversation.
2. Can you do a course on Qatr un-Nada'?

Often when Praying with Some W.Africans ( Senegal/Mauritanians, etc...., mostly SUFI, , they PRAY FAST (We can BARELY get Al Fatihah done )! How do we ADDRESS this issue with them ? Especially for NEW MUSLIMS , VERY FRUSTRATING!
There is NO WAY we can Recite another SURAH , after RUSHING to Complete Al-Fatihah!

Seek a private meeting with the Imaam to present your concern. If the issue is not addressed after your meeting with Imaam, seek another masjid to pray. May Allaah grant His guidance to all Muslims.
