I can follow up on this. Definitely 13+. Too much blood for me, so I had to block my view of parts of it, but still worth watching. I was concerned about my 11-year-old daughter, who I decided to bring even though I was concerned. She watched every bit of it, she said, but cried. She was okay. A lot tougher than I expected. Anyway, beautifully done. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

The film titled "Jesus" should not have been made for several reasons. One is that we don't know what Jesus and his apostles fully looked like so we don't need actors/actresses to show us what they may have looked like. Another reason is that it is best to just read the Bible. We will be judged by the words of the Bible, not by films. One more reason is that many people have made films about the Bible, Jesus, etc. but they are not true Christians.
As for Abigail Heringer to release a memoir, I most definitely will not be buying it.
Hey… films help people to understand what looks like. The Bible has part a story about him. Don’t care what he looks like but it is his story of life in history. Using books with photos or films can help with understanding. You forget some people can’t read or confuse with the sentence. Like I can't read the novel. Some people like to understand using books or films. Also, you know the bible is a lot of different books and sentences. a lot of people are confused and have different views of what a sentence means. Problem by writer/translator
@@tvandmovie4696 I understand what you are saying. However, let me reason with you by scripture. Second Timothy 2:15 says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." We have to study the written word to be approved unto God. Now, there are many translations of the Bible out there, but the KJV is the most accurate translation. People claim KJV to be hard to read, but actually, a readability test was performed on it and it was found to be the easiest to understand than any other translation. For example, with the first chapter of Genesis, KJV has a grade of 4.4 while the NIV has a grade of 5.1 and the NASB has a grade of 4.7. Furthermore, one can obtain understanding of the written word from the Holy Spirit as well as brethren in the Church (there is only one Church that Jesus founded and died for).
I think it's great that the movie was made. Maybe nobody should talk about Jesus either and just say, " Just read the Bible." Maybe nobody should write any songs about Him or create artwork about Him. I don't believe that. I will be praying for the movie to be successful and for some people to understand who He is better. 🙏
It's fine for you to prefer the KJV. But I think trying to limit to the KJV limits opportunities for growth. How do you feel about the ASLV? Or maybe you should only be allowed to read it in the original Greek and Hebrew. It's not beneficial to add restrictions for others.
