They still sound just as good 20 years later I've been listening to these guys since I was a young kid in the 90s and now my kids also enjoy listening to their music
I just listened to this live version after listening to the original single. Their voices have grown a lot. I love it where she belts some of the notes in stead of doing them in falsetto. Nice to see they've been practicing and not just been doing some novelty 90's gigs.

Considering they now sing live 99% of the time, compared to the 90s when they mostly lip-synced, I’d say they actually sound so much better these days! 😍

One of my most favorite bands! All of them can sing and dance very well and each member has his/her own charisma. Lee is the hearthrob, Lisa is cute, Faye is very pretty, H is full of energy. And Claire... her voice is one in a million!

Claire and Faye are obviously the strongest vocalists. But they really shine as a group. Wonderful!
And rightly Claire has the most vocals. Never understood the others complaining. They are not as strong vocally though I do think Faye should have got more leads

I have seen steps 4 times this was the best one I done meet and greet and met them and had a photo with them i went on my own also i miss a very important hospital appoitment to see them i got told of by my epilepsy nurse and consulant it was well worth it i am going again to see them in november on my own

But I would cancel any hospital appointments just for STEPS!
I have only met Steps once, & this will show how long ago this was.
It's when STEPS released thier book called " In Private", I went to the official launch & signing at Virgin Megastore Piccadilly Circus!
I managed to have 6 photos with them, 5 were of me & each member, then the last 1 was of me & all of STEPS together.

One of the biggest criticisms back in the 90's was they never sang live, but my god it begs the question why they didn't back then as they sound absolutely amazing now!
It’s more about preserving your performer. Doing live vocal everyday for the duration of the tour especially with all their previous routines would wear them out quickly. If you compare the old performances to 10-20 on, you could clearly see the routine changes to make them do live vocals without killing them
I always watch their music videos back then. And now i let my baby enjoy their music and be one of the future fan of this group. I love you STEPS. I hope that you also have a concert here in the philippines
