I came in here, after just purchasing the K65. I have never considered customizing a keyboard - then I saw those pudding caps. Holy shit... They're so beautiful... Damn I can't spend my money fast enough.
@@thestormthatisapproaching1872 i have a glorious tkl bought it for 100$ good stabs and mediocre switchs 'gatron brwon' but the board is hot swappable and have a detachable usb c cable .. found it a goos value for 100$

Solder is a metal alloy usually made of tin and lead which is melted using a hot iron. This keyboard does not support hot-swappable feature so you will have to desolder the keyboard in order to take the old switches out and replace them with new switches as you desire :D.

Each of those videos have their own method/ technique so I think they will confuse you a lot - so I would recommend you to take a look at the reading guide first them jump to any video guide. the problem with 8000 hz polling rate is that with the switches they use there is still a debounce time which completely negates the 8000hz. It's slower than optical switches without their fancy software.
PSA: I tried knock off pudding keycaps and they don't fit on my k65 mini because they're too loose. Good thing I paid a lot less for the keyboard second hand otherwise I would be more disappointed. :p

You can but you have to desolder the keyboard.
