It's unfortunate that even though Justice Sereno denied that there were factions, it was apparent that the divide is deep on her first day of office as Chief Justice, when half of the justices, mainly the senior ones, didn't show up.
Public should be listening to her. Her conviction is genuine. No traces of corruption. She may not have retained the receiving copies of the SALN, but definitely there is no issue of illegal receipt of public funds and graft. She is a true fighter and brilliant. The tangas would not understand her talk.

Integrity demands that as a public official you submit the REQUIRED documents to support your application as Chief Justice like any other applicant, appointed or not. Sereno, you are not exempted from complying with these requirements even if it was Aquino who appointed you. The requirement to submit duly notarized SALN's (Statement of Assets and Liabilities & Net Worth) stands and is one thing you FAILED to do. Going about talking against the Supreme Court justices themselves is a tactless move not suitable for one in your position. This is not a "political" agenda - it is a LEGAL one. Truth will come out in the end and you should be ready to face it.
I believe she is the first woman, the longest and one of the youngest CJ in our history whom her level of independence and heart to serve in justice to filipinos will make a history the same as The Queen Elizabeth's style of service as the golden age (but in judiciary system)
You are good in talking, which is not surprising for a lawyer. But I have never heard of you for any significant achievements except when you were appointed as Chief Justice. I think being religious is good, it sets the principle and character of a person. However, my opinion for a person to hold one of the highest position in the land, we need to be discreet when expressing anything religious, neutrality should be the impression imparted to the public. We need to be focusing on the goodness of the law of the land, it's application, inspiring justice and equality. You would be a good professor, definitely.
