the feeling of instant feedback and instant movement is what made me switch completely to the mpc 450 (now the 890) from ANY other mousepad I've ever had before.
There's so many pads that I forced myself to use too, it's really disheartening when I find a pad like that because it means it's nothing special or it hinders my performance, not focusing on quality but just doesn't offer me anything in terms of in-game performance. Enjoying your setup is so important too, just a mental boost when using what is on your desk. You also completely speed pad pilled me with the WuGi2, you're a smart man 🧠
Yeah the mental boost from an enjoyable setup is by far the biggest part of the peripheral hunt. Also so glad you’re enjoying the WuGi2. That pad is crazy good and a solid speedy pad always hits different but it’s so unique that I thought a lot of people might not vibe with it. It’s always nice to know that a video I made did a product justice and helped someone find a new favorite.
@@KraftyCraftKraf I'm not sure what kind of pads people like anymore, I'm seeing so many people love speed pads but most people play track heavy games now. It is unique but I think it's a surprising and good type of unique. All your videos do products justice, don't doubt yourself you're doing great man
Good review-very well-spoken and great comparison with the other pads. Bought the Mercury already and waiting for it to get here (6 day shipping sigh). My current mousepads feel like I'm dragging my mouse through mud, so I'm hoping this is the right direction for me to go regarding mousepads and that it won't be too fast for me.
Makes sense you didn't enjoy this pad as much since you already have a hien, even though it isn't a bad pad by any means. The hien inspired pads seem to bore almost every reviewer I've seen since there are so many of them to review lol Being a hien owner myself, I'm kind of torn between choosing the wugi2, the hayate otsu or the venus. I like the speed of the hien especially when it comes to micro adjustments and tracking, but I feel like I'd benefit from being able to have more stopping power on large flicks. I think the venus would be nice to have on days I feel inconsistent, but on days I feel like I'd be able to handle the speed I think the hayate otsu/wugi2 would be fun. Besides the base being bad on the wugi2 and the price difference, would there be any reason you'd recommend one over the other?
I really like this pad, and Im trying to find something else excatly like it because LGG hasnt made it in a while. I cant find anything. From reviews Ive seen, Hien is faster, Zero is slower, Odin Infinity is slower, Strider is faster, Aqua control 2 and Plus are slower. I have the Hayate Otsu and the Otsu is faster, which I dont like. Im considering the Equate V2 plus and the Aqua Control Pro Neon.
The Venus sounds like it would be exactly what you want. Feels great in all conditions and is a balanced speed pad that feels pretty even between the zero's balanced control and Mercury's speed. It's also just a really good pad so you can't really go wrong with it.
The Saturn is my favorite atm. It’s basically a perfect pad. The xten control is an old favorite but I’ve used it too much and have gotten a little bored with it lately. The vaxee pa is also really good for me in slower paced games where the higher static friction helps. Then the eclipse is also always there for when I want something slow.
I finally got this pad and man wow you're so spot on in saying it's a watered down/residual ice hien, heck i'd go even further to say it's stale water hien, while it is a great pad, got blown away by the quality, it's soooooo boring, I only got it today and tried it out for a few hours and just didnt wanna play on it anymore haha the exotic and fun-ness of the hien is just gone lol and even tho i dont think it's the pad I'm looking for, I'm having more fun with the venus lol

im with you 100%, it just feels so tight and adds nothing but ur own movement. thr smoother a pad gets, the more floaty it feels for me ^^
@@tinychamberz could you elaborate more about that? Im not getting why mercury sucks at this point

When are you gonna do a review of the Lethal Gaming Gear Jupiter?

Do you think this would workshop with lexip feet?
Which pad would you recommend I have the zero but feels a bit too slow?
wanting to feel the texture is one of the major reasons I probably won't buy glass skates, love me that feedback
also is that an np01 or np01s
It’s an np-01
Do you know any pad that has a speed between this and the zero? (and humidity resistant)

could you tell what do you meat by watered down feeling? More resistance? I cant understand :C
@@howtofitness777 no just kinda more boring, more basic, safer, less wild etc
Which game do you play the most?
Overwatch recently. No game is as mechanically satisfying so I always end up crawling back.
What am I looking at here
Dude your reviews went from good to creepy with those nails...
the quality of the reviews didnt change one bit, why does it matter what color his nails are? it doesnt.
The review is still good. You just have problems judging, and focusing on whats important.
LMAO nail polish, down voted
