Are you actually mailing the gift box itself or are you putting it in another box? I usually put my gift boxes in flat rate priority usps mail boxes, but the price has gone up so much for these flat rate boxes, I'm trying to figure out what to do. I dont know if i feel like it woukd be safe to mail my orders out in the actual gift box, but i dont know. Ive never tried it. Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
Both of the smaller boxes I use fit in the USPS Priority Mail padded envelope. I believe that is the cheapest option for shipping unless something has changed. Larger orders, I am doing the same as you. I do think these boxes would hold up well for shipping on their own but I also think I would need to size up slightly to accommodate more padding. Especially for the items packaged in glass. My friend @ Arizona Soap Co ships in very well padded gift boxes. I hope that helps!
@@Will-O-Wisp-Bath-Body Thanks so much for your reply! What are the size boxes you fit into the envelope? I need to buy a couple of of more medium sized boxes that will fit into the envelope but not sure what sizes would actually fit aside from my really small boxes that I put in there. My apologies for asking one more question! LoL And that sounds like a good idea that your friend is doing by just adding extra padding to the gift boxes. Thanks again!! Edit: oh and yes, the envelope is still a great price. It's the medium and large boxes that are so expensive at $18.40 and $24.75. Some people have a problem with those prices, unfortunately.
@@KathyH3333 Absolutely! Those prices are steep! I have a 7.125 L x 5 W x 3 H and a 6 L x 4 W x 3 H that both fit inside a bubble mailer. I purchased a 10 x 7 x 5 box to hold extra padding and mail independently. I will be trying it soon so fingers crossed everything makes it in one piece. Lol
@@Will-O-Wisp-Bath-Body lol crossing fingers for you! And thank you so much for the dimensions! I'll order some of those as well since they fit the bubble envelope. I so appreciate your time and help! 🙏💜
