If you only use distilled water it will not get stopped up with calcium deposits. Tap water in some areas of the country has a lot of calcium and it will clog up any steam cleaner. Just buy a gallon of distilled water. This will last a lot longer. Same thing goes for your steam irons too.

Mine worked till 3 wewks after the warrenty ran out. Probably would have lasted longer if someone didn't leave water in it. Off to buy a new one.

I am on my second one as limescale stuffed up my first one , second one was stored dry and it stopped working and would not steam . Tried it 4 times and not worked but this time put white vinegar in it and after a while it came back working. If yours stops steaming add vinegar to break up internal limescale should get it working again.

@@BubbyBrew I bought my red one about 10 years ago through HSN and came here to refresh my memory about the accessories. I used mine for kitchen floor grout, bathroom tile surface, and the grill and it worked really well for me. Was surprised how much dirt was in the crevices even after I mopped. Although on the highest setting it spit out water which is normal so needed a towel to wipe up residual water. Moved into a new house and brought it out today to try on my shower tracks, bathroom, ice chests, oven, mattress, and things to donate to Goodwill. I really like mine and am so glad I used a label maker when I placed the cleaning nozzles in a zip lock bag and labeled it “grill” and “floors” so I don’t cross contaminate.
I bought a $5 black carry strap so I can hang it off my shoulder when used as a hand held steamer. Glad I bought an extra mop head. I personally would want 1 more so I have it ready while washing the other 2. As a hand held it is heavier than teapot sized ones which is why I have a carry case strap. Heats up fast.

@@BubbyBrew Sorry, one last thing that’s important. Here’s a comment I left on a different site. Hope it helps.
I love mine after 10 years. That said take note: I treat mine like a baby and read and followed ALL instructions no short cuts. I don’t leave excess water in it and carefully store all attachments. I don’t mix anything else with the water no vinegar. I only use distilled water not tap like he says bc it will develop limescale and need to be descaled with 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water ( see RUclips video for H2O care and maintenance, we have hard water. Only use on SEALED floors he even says that so laminate/fake wood floors is out of the question bc the excess water it leaves will ruin your floors and get in between the crevices bc it’s not sealed.
Now, the 10-15 seconds to kill e-coli and salmonella I think is overreach. That’s only if you remain in one spot with continuous constant steam. No one is going to leave it in 1 spot, count to 10 seconds then move to the next spot. It would take forever to clean. Just use a Lysol or Clorox wipe or spray. 2 nozzles are not nearly enough. I bought 8 bc I like to totally separate certain cleaning zones with a dedicated nozzle. I also found the triangle mop attachment too small for larger rooms so I bought the large rectangle mop attachment to cover more surface areas. Personally, I wouldn’t use it on anything but tile, linoleum, ceramic, marble. I wouldn’t even use it on wood bc I’d worry @ the excess water it leaves which is more than a mop and bucket. See how he uses a rag to wipe up the dirt and water? That happened on my tile floor at the #4 setting. I just used a towel to wipe up excess and left it to air dry. At the time my whole house was tile so no problem. I didn’t use it for garments and didn’t have curtain panels. I used it to clean tile grout with the nozzle, and to direct in crevices around my faucets, shower/window tracks, sink, seasonal items in the garage and scrubbed each individual bathroom tile to get dirt that didn’t come up with my mop. I didn’t use it for my toilet either bc I’m a germaphone and don’t want to think I used it for my toilet then my kitchen despite different nozzles being used. I LOVED it on my baseboards which initially I kept scrubbing with a scotchbrite sponge and a AP cleaner and wasted a lot of elbow grease. Then I used this and the embedded dirt came right up. I moved and now have laminate wood floors so I’m bummed I can’t use it on my floors but still like it as a hand steamer. It’s a carpet “refresher” not a shampooer. It doesn’t suck up dirt. Tip: use a label maker to put each nozzle in a baggie so you don’t cross contaminate. As far as people saying it’s a POS it’s a gamble just like any product. Every company will always have a portion of their products be “made on a Friday” so it’s defective. Even 4.5 star products on Amazon will always have a number of people who got a defective item. I can’t speak @ customer service bc I haven’t called. And no I’m not a paid reviewer, salesperson, fake. Just telling my own experience.
