The slide out tailgate was advertised as being available at launch, and was one of the features I wanted to spec my Badlands out with. I love my Bronco, but I really wish Ford would make that table available for those of us who got a 2021, and are missing out on a lot of thr cool accessories we were promised.
From what I understand the reason you can only get the 2.3L 4-cylinder engine was because of the added weight in the front end coming from the winch. The smaller engine in addition to the winch equals about the same weight in the front as if you were to get the 2.7L V6.
I've seen other who were are the Michigan unveiling say that they don't offer the 2.7L motor because of the payload. The winch and 2.7L would cause them to have to re-engineer the suspension, which they don't wanna do.
Absolutely a pass for me. Enough that I switched from a loaded badlands. All I need is a build date now! The slide out tailgate looks cool and nice to finally see footage of one.
Ford shows cupholders in the back seat now btw. I changed my order to an Everglades. My only complaint is the ugly sticker. Asked my dealer not to apply it if it's dealer installed like some of the others are.
Was in the traveling in my Bronco last week and saw a hummer trailering one of your Bronco’s! Thought it was so neat to see your license plate holder with Town and County on it!!
There will be an after market snorkel soon if there is not one already. Outfit the intake with a dust collector . Useful in sandy/dirty conditions and high water.
I’m definitely liking the wheels and the neutrality of the interior colors. If I were to buy a bronco it’d more than likely be the black diamond but this one is sweet also.
Unfortunately, any Branco model did not reach the Middle East..!! We are following your episodes with great passion because we are madly in love with this model. We hope to focus on accessories, especially camping accessories. We want more off-road performance videos.
Hey Mitchell, I enjoyed meeting you near the Bronco Nation area early on Wednesday morning. I’m the 6’3 guy who discovered you are actually 6’4 with boots😂. I meant to ask you which Alabama university you support and follow. I played college ball and we were the last team to beat Bear Bryant at Tuscaloosa.
No Manual = Fail. I went to Bronco off-rodeo New Hampshire and spent all day driving an automatic. 6 months after that (1year from original date) I got my 2-door base with manual and aux switches in black and it is a completely different animal.
This is by far the coolest 6G bronco rig. I want one so bad! And I absolutely love my outer banks. But this is way too cool. Does it still have the air vents under the seats? And when ordering marine grade vinyl now, including the Everglades, the back seat will have the arm rest / cup holders in the middle.
Yes, but they don't work. MGV doesn't get cup holders in the rear. As a Bronco owner, I suggest looking at other trims. The snorkel is cool, but the winch package is way over priced and the limitations of this trim are pretty bad.
@@J_Madison see that's what I hear online a lot but mine work perfectly fine. And MGV is getting the cup holders. They've now updated the photos on the build to include cup holders. Some trims with cloth seats have them as well. It was announced prior to the march switch for order holders who wanted to switch to either of the two special editions. Early March is when they updated the photos to support the news release.
I understand why they made it automatic but I dont understand why manual isnt an option. I might never own one but having it as an option would have made this my favorite trim.
Could Ford have selected the 2.3L due to the recent complaints about the 2.7L alternator being so close to the ground? Perhaps they figured someone who buys the Everglades may actually ford deep water and the alternator location was found to be an issue when designing/testing the Everlglades. I am not trolling as I am truly trying to learn more about this issue since I already have a 2.7L Badlands. Perhaps this is overblown.
Monday 8/1 is the last few calls/dealership visits I’m going to spend trying to avoid mark ups. Hope TC Ford can come through if others try to rip me off.
A few things. The snorkel just didn't look right. Seems like water easily gets in. The winch just looks goofy sticking out of the front bumper like that. The graphics didn't do it for me.
Interrupting what Ford is doing with Broncos, two questions about this supposed vehicle that can go through the water one what did they do with the alternator? 2.3 eco-boost I believe the alternator is really low, like on the bottom. the second thing I would like to Ford engineering to do is make the disconnect swaybar on a Sasquatch package, so it's more available not everybody wants the one that has it, even though that would be my choice. Keep up the reviews like you say you touch on things that other people don't.
So with that rear slide out installed on the four door. Do you lose access to the storage in the floor? Can you access the jack storage without having to completely uninstall the slide out?
They have an option to order the soft top from best top and it is much better than the normal one. But it only lets u do that if you also select the hard top. Is it possible to order a regular bronco with just the best top or with no top?
Can’t wait for order banks to open for 2023 everglades will be my trim for sure now… will Be painting wheels and grille black though. Tired of ford painting things carbonized gray besides body panels
Curious if you or anyone knows about the rear storage compartments with the slide out tailgate. Do you lose that access or does it somehow unlatch and lift?
No, you lose several inches as it is higher-up. It doesn't lift out. It is how Ford made the cargo area even with the back seats. I choose not to lose the space and got the fold-down table that attaches to the inside of the back door.
are the actual fenders different on the everglades? or just the flares. i like the flares, but i'm curious if they'll fit the other models since they are Quick Disconnect. In the video the fenders themselves almot look like they are boxed instead of rounded.
Does the winch have a separate switch on the dash or is it hooked up to one of the Aux switches? Does the snorkel block the ability to add ditch lights? just curious as I wait for my Desert Sand Everglades.
Yeah i dont think youd get much use out of the ditch lights on the right side. Didnt think about that until you said it. But you could still get a lightbar and just turn the outer lights out a bit more or mount lights on on the roof rack for ditch lights as well. 🤷🏻♂️
I love the fenders way better 5 15’ maybe I can get the tan on my black diamond in 2023 model I just want ford to build all reservations that they have before they take more orders since some of us are first week reservation holders hahaha love the video as usual
All the cost cutting evidence throughout the Bronco without the MSRP cut is what has me turned off. 60K to get a decent one that still feels plasticy and cheap. I'm good.
I definitely do not understand why the Bronco doesn't come with hood struts on all models. If I can buy a pair of aftermarket hood struts for $99 from Amazon, surely Ford can buy a pair of them for well under half of that, yes? Say $40 per pair? Even the Base that costs $35,000 surely has enough profit in it to afford $40 for hood struts, no? But that is literally the *first* modification I plan to make on my Bronco when I get it. Hood struts. Even before the Diode Dynamic lights I plan to install.
I hate hood struts. They wear out and need replacing and don't work well in cold weather. It's a necessity evil on a hatchback, but for a hood a prop rod is simple works great and never needs replacing
Sorry, but the value just isn't there. Apples to apples the Everglades 4 door is a 2.3 liter mid-package Bronco for $54,595. My favorite build is the 2 door Badlands 2.3 manual w/o sasquatch MIC with lux which only runs $51,175 and with Sasquatch is only $55,265 ($700 more and you get so much more). Of course, if you want the slide out tailgate or mid-package on the Black Diamond, you have to get an automatic transmission, because "reasons". Also you can't get the Sasquatch package with the slide out tailgate because "reasons". BD MID pkg w/MIC Non-Sasquatch 2.3 auto is nearly $10k less. BD Sasquatch MIC 2.3 manual is still $5k less. It is because of the position of the alternator in the 2.7 being at the bottom
I’m so excited! I have a production date for my bronco of June 13th!! It’s getting close! Time to get some wheels and tires and accessories ordered!!
I wish it came with the Manual 7 speed transmission. Also, heated seats and steering wheel. It would be perfect for me with those extra options.
It does have heated seats, but i agree with the steering wheel would be awesome.

I’m sold with the Tailgate table. Adding that to my Badlands order. Wish I could get those wheels though 🤔
Looks like you can't order the tailgate on the Badlands, did your order go through?
The 2.3L-only is the only thing preventing me from finally converting my reservation into an order.
Its definitely a unique trim package but its pricey, a black diamond with a snorkel seems like a better deal.
The quick detach hoop steps are awesome but they are not rock sliders and cannot support the weight of the vehicle.
