At the end of the day she is an EMPLOYEE of Hybe. She does not write NJ music/lyrics, she does not choreograph NJ dance, she comes up with concepts. That is it. She was recruited for her track record and was given the keys to the kingdom. Access to the best trainees, best facilities, best office, best salary AND gifted shares as a show of faith. Why would Hybe do all this, put all that investment at risk, see a drop in share value, unless there was proof of something serious going on?
When anyone or any company faces auditors, internal or external, you have to disclose and give access to everything. And if you don't, of course they will presume that something underhand is happening. It is just common sense. But let's wait for the official findings.
I personally think they should release MHJ and NJ from Hybe. She can then start her own company with NJ. But would MHJ take on $10m in personal debt and face bankruptcy to keep NJ afloat like Bang PD did for BTS? I doubt it.💜

I doubt they will release nj. mhj could put her money where her mouth is and buy out their contract if they are so important to her and the girls and parents are on her side as she says. she would need to pay the fee to break the contract which i heard is the average monthly income of the group from the past 2 years multiplied by the number of months left in the contract. let her use her own money and mortgage her things and get loans to buy nj then she and her group can go. not that songwriters and others will likely work with them after that with the ways she is showing how she runs her business not to mention the risk of potentially getting on the bad side of the largest kpop label in the world. she wanted to gather all this info and money and wait out nj contracts a little but she got caught before she is in a position to leave. if the company that has you in a "slave contract" wants you out wouldn't you run at the chance to be free? lol also i think most knetz don't agree with her and the polls just ask a specific type of person.

The woman is an employee she did wrong refused to comply with a lawful audit which any company can do any time they wish. As it's a company with Shareholders it has to do them by Law. To refuse to comply will mean you loose your job. She refused to return company property eg the laptop. That is not here private laptop that is company property and when requested has to be handed in. That is stealing company property another reason to lose you job and would also land you a court of law.
Many of use have studied Business law, and either work for a company or own our own companies. So we know what we are talking about.

This is why I explicitly said this needs to be solved in judicial court. The court of public opinion is another thing, but it’s not fact or the law. I cannot name a case (if you have any examples, happy to hear) where a conglomerate was the actual victim against an individual. I don’t see how what I said makes no logical sense to you, but ok. We’re all entitled to opinions, but let’s be clear that they are opinions, albeit based on news. This is also why there is a discrepancy on international vs Korean sentiment now. It’s opinion.

Majority shareholders should be able to fire the CEO if they believe the CEO is not doing the job he or she was hired for. If shareholders lose their confidence in the ability of the CEO to do a good job they can fire the CEO. They are merely protecting the interests of the majority of the shareholders. Hybe owns 80% of the company. That gives them the right to hire and fire the CEO. All of MHJ’s histrionics are irrelevant in the face of this.

I know that nearly happened to an employee at the company I worked for when I was studying for my degree. It turned out he gave his password to his 16year old son and his son did it. oooops That was also a breach of company property allowing his son to use it. So you can imagine he lost his job.
well, my boss would fire me for much less than that, but I guess it depends on the salary the employee gets. The bigger the more difficult to get fired.

I’ve been watching Korea Now for years, but the coverage of this story is so one sided it’s laughable. This has opened my eyes on why I should not continue to subscribe to this channel.
See, this report is still wrong. HYBE has not used any means of mudslinging and has remained mostly silent at their own choice to wait for the hearings to disclose more. They filed criminal charges. You do not speak unnecessarily if you take these matters seriously.

In a new article, HYBE side reveals that with the audit, a team leader cooperated and said he personally received hundreds of millions of won directly from advertisers, with the permission of MHJ, and this was not passed on to HYBE.
Ador side apparently accused Hybe this time of a "forced audit" in order to refute the claims and make the information collected through the audit sound illegal to render the information unusable in the case.
MHJ says Hybe used force and went to a female employee's house at 10 pm...
Hybe again says all of this is false. Only one female HYBE employee accompanied an ador employee who said he’d hand over his laptop which was at his home, and the audit was done with cooperation. HYBE also says there is NO practice where an employee receives direct profits from advertisers.
Also states the money, which should be recognized as company sales was passed privately with MHJ's permission for years.
Ador board also states they will hold a Shareholders meeting on the 31st.

If min hee jin will be dismissed and if there is a possibility that newjeans will go with her, their is a chance that they cannot use their group name. They will probably loss a lot of brand deals since we cannot ignore that hybe has a lot of connections. The auditor must be someone neutral to either side, why is hybe deciding who the auditor is? Shouldn't the court propose an auditor or someone outside the company ? If the auditor is biased to the company could corrupt any file or her devices, even if they don't, she can claim and all evidence will be corrupted and therefore rendered useless.
I'm not sure, but I think it is a 3rd party. When they talked about the meeting (not on this news channel), they said, "Hybe executives and the auditor were present during the meeting". 🤷♀️

Typically, auditors are 3rd party hired by a company. They don't work under the company requesting the audit.

However, all this does not prevent the internal audit, which was the one promoted by Hybe on April 22nd, and which could still be this one.
