I use a completely different stitch in the updated pattern. In the old pattern I used triple crochet and I find that over time the stitches losen up, this new stitch works up much nicer and the scrunchies holds up better after it's been used.
I always do a stretch test, some brand hair ties seem to be more prone to breaking than others. I started buying the Goody brand ones and haven’t had breaks. I just make sure to really stretch them before I make the scrunchie.
There is a link in the description to where you can find this printable set along with others for scrunchies. I just added a direct link to the Mermaid set
I made this in no time! Love this stitch. It’s better than other ones I’ve seen. Thank you very much ❤️!
Thank you! This stitch really does hold up well and I find it easier with velvet yarn than other stitches.
Great stitch! I love learning something new. I ordered the printable tags, too. You’re the best!
i used this with extra bulky velvet yarn for a giant scrunchie. it worked really well and was very easy to follow. thank you!
I love the way you make these! I need to check out the holders. I’ve been trying to find ones I like and yours are cute and simple!
Love this video!!✨
I love your videos
Thank you, I am still a bit new at it, but I am hoping they are helpful :)
Nice video
Great video. I think l could do this.
I love your videos? Is the major difference between the first video and this updated one, the tying at the end to secure it?

I tie the yarn onto the hair tie when I start.
