Switch is a great hybrid device even though it's not budget friendly, especially for the Indian consumer. However, at the same time, the Switch community in India is growing rapidly. It's good to see people enjoying the excellent Nintendo exclusives. The indie games usually have good discount sales on Eshop as well. One thing I like about Switch is that you can put the kit in sleep mode while a game is running and then resume playing after 2-3 days from where you left off. Also it's a great system for couch coop. For Switch owners, I recommend titles such as Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Castle Crashers, Super Mario 3D World, etc. Lots of fun with family and friends.
Us walo ke liye shi hai 60$ ka game lete hai Aram se kyunki unki salary hi kaafi achi hote hai same as Japan aur Nintendo hi nhi aur bhi consoles dekh lo. But phir bhi i choose my iphone se atleast pocket friendly compact switch se zyada ke saath saath console quality games woh zyada better hai. Aur games bhi Indian pricing ke hisab se shi hai.
Yes, as iOS, Android and Steam markets are officially available in India, the pricing will obviously be better suited for Indian audience. If Nintendo chooses to open their stores officially in India (which doesn't seem likely but one can dream) then only the pricing will improve.
I'm a huge Zelda fan. One of the best open world games I have played. I've never been disappointed in owning a Nintendo switch. I agree that games are expensive. It's still worth it.
I own Nintendo switch oled and yes I do agree this console is expensive af... but overall my experience is very good....talking about triple a games you can play doom series ,witcher 3 ,wolfstien, assassin's creed trilogy very good performance even in 30 fps and venom if you are reading this comment then do try zelda breath of the wild which is game of the year 2017 ,also try Animal crossing and Mario odyssey these are some fabulous games of Nintendo switch.
This console has many excellent games that no other console has. Nintendo doesnt go after graphics, it is more into innovation and gameplay. Most of the Nintendo 1st party games are a must play. It is expensive. But the games are awesome

But in terms of quality the console is well built and if u are interested in playing the switch exclusive titles like u mentioned then u can go the the lite version it's great I've been using one for a few years now...also buy games from the eshop have multiple accounts with diff locations so you get discounts as well..

I had owned nintendo switch once due to mario nostalgia. The console is only good for playing exclusives. Though a lot of switch exclusives works well on emulators. One of my favorite (yoshi's crafted world) works like a charm on yuzu emulator (RTX 3060 rig)

Good review! Though I would like to add that for the Switch, talking about it without going a little bit deeper into its exclusives is a bit unfair. Nintendo has Zelda, Mario, Splatoon, Metroid, Mario Kart, Smash, Pokémon, Animal crossing and so on. Every single franchise in itself is a system seller. I’ve owned the og switch for the better part of 4 years and let me tell you, it has completely revived my interest in gaming. The portability is something which has to be experienced to understand just how amazing it really is. I have clocked in more than a 100 hours in multiple games..and I’m a working professional with up to 55 hours/week on my job. And yet I can easily play a bit of Zelda or Splatoon handheld before winding down for the day which is absolutely not possible with the other consoles. At the end of the day, switch has very low graphics compared to the other systems, but the gameplay is top notch in the exclusives, and the portability just brings down the inertia of starting a game down to zero. Expensive yes. But if you’re serious about gaming yet struggle to find time for it with job and family demands, then the switch is totally worth it.

I’ve collected my games over a period of 4-5 years so the cost didn’t break my bank. If you look at the entire cost of games, then it definitely is really high. my entire point is, that the console and games and the entire experience is costly yet worth it if you’re a busy individual with job and family demands

Earlier versions of switch have been jailbroken and one of my friends has it, it's so much fun playing all the switch exclusives for free lol. Plus, switch emulation on Android has also been gaining a lot traction, it's in early phase though but the progress has been remarkable in few years I think most switch games will be playable on phones.

So consumers are different for PS, Xbox and switch.

Trust me on this , Nintendo switch lite is totally worth it and it only costs around 15k ( super cheap for a consol ) and has so many masterpiece games like breath of the wild , Mario oddyssey , smash bros and animal crossing even at 4k price. You should really buy it if you are looking for a cheap console. Each of these games will keep you entertained for atleast 6 months if not more. It has a some free games as well as some anime streaming apps and yt and twitch. Overall i see the Nintendo switch lite as a excellent investment if you travel a lot or like handhelds as it is much more affordable than PlayStation and Xbox
Nintendo Switch is actually a goldmine for people who’re into JRPGs (Japanese RPGs), Nintendo offers a huuuuge range of these exclusive JRPGs, sure their covers look like they’re kiddish, but once you delve into the world of JRPGs you’ll realise that they offer much more depth and layers than you would’ve imagined. Basically, if you like JRPGs, go for this console hands down.

If you want to play indie titles and exclusives it is very vwry good 2nd or third console. However value wise switch lite is best you can get it for upto 15k and still can play all the above. Also lots ot deals in eshop...i get good games in 1.5 dollars too

Nice analysis, I had owned Nintendo switch before PS5, and I would like to add that you buy the Nintendo Console not for it's graphics capabilities but for it's exclusive titles. And they are worth it. Only con, Nintendo titles are expensive & the only way forward is if you can get used cartridges for the games.

Nintendo Switch is actually a goldmine for people who’re into JRPGs (Japanese RPGs), Nintendo offers a huuuuge range of these exclusive JRPGs, sure their covers look like they’re kiddish, but once you delve into the world of JRPGs you’ll realise that they offer much more depth and layers than you would’ve imagined. Basically, if you like JRPGs, go for this console hands down.

Very informative.. the console is at different level, aisa nahi bann gaya most selling console...that's the reason nintendo never entered the indian market.. mere pass ps5 bhi hai, iska gameplay is much better, my personal recommendation its a family console game, if 19 years kai ho go for play station... 12 years ke kid ko ps5 or ps4 de sakte ho?? or name the games.. and it can be connected to HD tv also... for example slatoon 3 is coming in september, online shooter, check it out, no offense to your stream(only saying check the facts)
If you want to play indie titles and exclusives it is very vwry good 2nd or third console. However value wise switch lite is best you can get it for upto 15k and still can play all the above. Also lots ot deals in eshop...i get good games in 1.5 dollars too

good review. 30000 money risk for this 720p device which low poly games at lowest settings, trouble in 50 fps gaming. This is for rich or gambler like people, collector or mario ,zelda , pokimon one sided lovers. No after sale support , online game market is complex and trash. Also have to buy games at least 10 games people would buy which will cost 30 thousand more. No regional price like steam games or playstation. no free games like Epic store. Nice analysis, I had owned Nintendo switch before PS5, and I would like to add that you buy the Nintendo Console not for it's graphics capabilities but for it's exclusive titles. And they are worth it. Only con, Nintendo titles are expensive & the only way forward is if you can get used cartridges for the games.

This is the best portable gaming console after psp. Mostly the Nintendo first party titles are costly. There are many third party titles that keep going on sale. You can wait and pick up these games on sale. This console is great for folks who like to live lightly or minimalistic.

no one should buy new switch right now. hardware is already 5 years old. they will announce new model (hardware) in 23/24. if you want to buy, thn buy an old switch which is jailbreakable. games are pretty expensive as an Indian perspective.

Playing GTA Trilogy on Switch is the worst someone could do. Switch is made for even better titles like LoZ, Mario and pokemon
