I think I worked it out at last market close, due to the app showing the wrong data I was out $40, angrily in the last 4 hours I worked it out and this video practically just confirmed what I thought. You have to find the market values for the day at the moment in the 15600-highs 15400-lows then place short or buy trades based on where the scale currently is reltaed to those 2 values. I think with compounding the earnings I should be able to double.. triple.. up a lot nicely. Time and perseverance will tell, here's to market open tomorrow night!.

I think on that first example I would've waited for price to break above the resistance and retest then consider taking buys, as for sells. I would've waited for price to hit the resistance and probably make a fakeout and then comeback in the range and take that as a confirmation for sells.
I do not trade myself. I have an account manager who is helping me invest with good risk management so I don't loose money at all and my taxes are covered by the broker. You can reach out if you need to earn aswell

What should be the look back period if finding levels at 1 or 2 hourly chart. Will it will good enough if we just consider the next 2 -3 levels? 2. If there is no level, say for last 10 days atleast with 1 hour trading window, then we should consider before than that?
I have been scalping the /NQ for the last year and this is exactly what I deal with every day. I can make $1000+/day for weeks, but then go through terrible drawdown. The /ES moves a little better, but usually slower. If I felt good about where I was with this, I would be watching something other than a trading video. :/

There's no waiting on Nas100, it's too fast and furious with candles and spikes of +100 pips on 15 minutes time frame. If a trader can handle US30, NAS100 and S&P500 than he/she can trade any other boring currency.
I am not finding this strategy well but only 30 to 40% winning chance if you add to use trend lines it will help to increase winning level above 80 %...

nas 100 is great to trade as well as the us30. although lots of head fakes at sups and res it chops very well almost like clock work. do not show your stops to the market youll get taken out every time
Great video mate with great explaining. Just started trading indices like SPX500, NAS100 and US30.. I may stay away from US30 for a while cause those points per move kicked my account's arss,, pardon my french 😵 Cheers!
As someone that regularly trades the US100, I would advise against shorting the market (and most indices) on the higher time-frames unless you really know what you are doing.
This a great video man I like how you go into details and honest opinion about it,I've recently been teaching and watching videos and have a live account which is small oviasly trying to just use what I see and learn and apply to charts then will fund more but very helpful from you.
Lets say you use this break and retest on the 5 min only. doing this would it not be more profitable as you have more setups which meens more wins (and losses) but if we talking about taking it systematically you would think more opportunities would lead to more profits faster?

Have you gathered any statistics on break even trades? Like has it been good or bad, i know its great to not take a loss but that could also have been some break evens that turned winners

Psychology would have been all over the place this is a H4 timeframe so granted your using bar replay but in REAL life that’s days upon days and we’re watching a chart just trending upwards. I love the break and retest strategy but at times confirmation is bad just take the trade and have your SL where it should be even in Bearish Pressure considering the trend.
If there is one thing I do not like about this type of testing, especially looking at a high time frame like that, it does not teach you the patience that goes with it. Waiting for ten 4 hour candles to go by needs that patience. Forward testing is a different game all together.

Wave 4 hardly ever retest the last structure point, so if you wait for a wave 4 retest before entering the next trade, you will miss out

in indexes you need to have a larger stop loss in order to give your trade room. price is more volatile
