We the Chinese people appreciate all the RUclipsrs who tell their experiences in China with good and bad criticism. Chinese are humble people, we know our government have done a good job in providing better living for not only Chinese living in China but they also assist and help nations by helping them to build high quality and low cost infrastructures and making trade deals that benefit all parties involved. We welcome anyone with kindness and not with bad intentions, for example, Chinese like the people but not most of their government officials because they are mostly hypocrites and they lie to cover up their corruptions and ill intend. Just look at all G7 leaders, what have they done for their people except to smear at China and suppress China. But the sad thing is many of western people are being brain washed by their government and their media. Hope they will come and visit China to see all the lies. 🙏🙏✌️❤️🇨🇳
Yessss! I've always thought how people posting videos about China are accused with being paid by the Chinese government, but no one ever questions people who post videos about other countries. It's so ridiculous

What frustrates me as a Chinese American is why most American and westerners in general don’t like watching RUclips videos that talked about people’s positive opinions on China and yet they watch so many videos from RUclipsrs who talk negative about China or watch news channels that usually talk negative about China. Every time when I watch RUclips videos like yours Willene or videos of people’s positive experiences/opinions about China it’s usually Chinese people or foreign expats that are already living in China.
Because that's the nature of the west. Don't be surprise

I don't think anyone claims that all people vlogging from/about China are paid. However, there have been reports about quite a number of them who are being compensated for their content.
And I find it funny how no one blogging from the mainland mentions that RUclips has been blocked there for 15 years now and that they need to use a VPN for it.

Because the entire Western media has continued to describe China and the Chinese government in a very negative way for decades, very few people have actually been to China. So gradually everyone unconditionally believed in what the Western media said about China.
Not all but some! China is beautiful and the people are friendly. Infrastructure are much better than the West or UK! The ones that are paid are the ones that talk about politics in China (especially its economy and the State govt relation with its people). The others just want to see the beauty of the land and at the same time make money from views and subscriptions from Chinese people.
I have spoken to a lot of youtubers (from the Phil, Bali, Thailand, China). They are just there to make money and see the beauty of the land and culture (not interested in politics).

The problem with Chinese content is that the are 2 types of Chinese content. Is bad content ,good content and objective.
Bad Content is banned in China, I find someone who do bad content living in China very lucky or ignorant of the laws there. Second Good content this one is that you can genuine or just want to make Money, 3rd this is the only content creator I love . Being objective about China. China has bad and good we just need someone to be honest and objective about the reality
