It's so sweet that Cain calls Lisa "Grandma" even though she wasn't. She was more of a Mother to Cain than Shadrach & Faith were. They are going to have to really Soldier on without her. Zak probably feels he never was able to give her the things she so richly deserved.
Cain never called her grandma she was his stepmom he called her Lisa your getting mixed up he said grandma Lisa because it’s what Kyle called her. But your right Lisa may have been their stepmother but tbh she was more of a mother to Cain and Sam than their biological mothers Faith and Nellie ever where
I don't know how people muster up the courage. When my nan passed, some of my cousins had young children. I can't imagine having to explain the concept of death to a 3 or 4 year old when they ask if they can visit great nanny. Awful stuff
I really hope that this does not affect Belle and Zak's history of mental health. They've had enough to deal with, they should be allowed to grieve for Lisa properly and not have their illnesses brought into the storyline.
Of course Zack and Belle where devastated at Lisa’s death as she was Zack’a beloved wife and Belle’s mother but I think a lot of them forgot how Lisa’s passing affected Sam she was his stepmother for many years and he loved her like she was his own mother and was equally as devastated but no one noticed
