wonder hussy, wonderhussie, wonder hussie, wonder hussey, wonderhussey
SUP my fellow huss heads !!!
❤ Haaaaa! Huss Heads! I love it...we need t-shirts!
Hiking with you is never a bust! You make it as fun and interesting as flying to Mars! 😳
She flicked her bean in that abandoned cabin.
Thank you for taking us all along for another great wonderhussy adventure !!!
Thank you for being you❣️
Hi Sara. The car in question is a 1961 Dodge Phoenix. You sure are brave going off to these isolated places by yourself like that. Much more than I would be. Thanks for taking us all on another super fine trip with you , Sara.
I always associate these cars with Blake Edwards films with Henry Mancini soundtracks.
@16:49
I can't believe someone got that car up there.
going into mine's alone. not too cool. do you even own a emerg. locator beacon?
Wonder Hussy should have known that…. She was plowed in the back seat of the Phoenix several times.
No one tells stories better than You do ! 😀
Ask her about what happened at band camp.
I don't know who said this. I saw it on a inspirational poster when I was 16 or so and I'm 60 now " Only those who go too far, can find out how far one can go " good words to live by. Can get you into trouble sometimes, but you'll always have a cool story to tell when you get home.
Sarah Jane always makes my Wednesdays better!😁
Thanks Wonderhussy!
🥰
What are you a millionaire. You have a different girlfriend for every night of the week?
Watching Wonder Crusty made me need penicillin.

Cattle Call back at you, Wonderhussy. You are by far the best guide in the desert. Never dissatisfied with a WH adventure.
For some reason your channel makes me feel the most relaxed of all. Just the right amount of normal with a good amount of eccentric flair. :) Thank you Wonderhussy.
I feel the same way so great to be able to watch the adventure videos
Pretty sure the car wreck is a 1961 Dodge Dart Pioneer
Boysenberries were created at Knotts Berry Farm in the 1920s!!!
Always amazed at what you find out in the middle of nowhere. Hope you never run out of old paces in the desert.
Or an old horney miner ..
Sandy here: from one snowflake to another, YES TOTALLY WORTH IT. Thank you for taking me along on another adventure I would have done YEARS ago, but can't do now. Also, kudos for being careful about old mines, we need you safe and healthy for years to come ❤❤.
Stay safe and be well ❤❤ Sandy and Ruth
I understand your comment at least we didn't miss out exploring while we could brings back wonderful memories
She blew the jeepers.

That’s why it’s good to pack your drone along, so you can check out the entire area from the air.
16:32 -- 1961 Dodge. The mid-sized Dart models were on the 118" wheelbase, the full-sized Dodge (Polara only) was on the 122" wheelbase. No chrome on the front fenders, so it's not a Polara. The Dart models were Seneca, Pioneer & Phoenix. The Phoenix didn't offer a 2-door sedan, so that narrows it down to Seneca or Pioneer. The side trim on the Seneca didn't go along the front door, so that makes this a 1961 Dodge Dart Pioneer. Mopar used that style of vent wing from '57 through '64, but not on all models.
That's my kinda woman. Drinks straight from the ole bottle of jack Daniel's! Yaa hoo
Your hilarious and deserve a Netflix series!
Wonderhussy, you're such a cute person. I love your videos. You drove right past me last summer in Colorado when I was riding my mountain bike
I very much enjoy your videos. You are an entertaining RUclipsr. I like the music you apply to your hiking and driving segments and your thoughts/imaginings about what could have occurred at the locations you explore. I am impressed that you know who Slim Whitman was. Sounds like you can yodel. Maybe you could do some yodelin' on the rough/bumpy tracks you navigate, or maybe not, you do have a nice voice, easy to listen to.
Your my kinda gal ,no afraid of anything, not woosing out on not having all the creature comforts
Good morning sunshine.
16:25 1961 Dodge Seneca, almost the same as a Phoenix.
I’m like you & I just call us Tomboys. Of course, it had a different meaning back in my day. Let’s not forget mud bogging, monster truck shows, & rock crawling though. Oh, that’s just me? That’s cool. 😂
Still amazing how they got all that stuff up there.
Probably pretty good road 60 years ago. Graders are cheap to operate, compared to tearing up your ore trucks.
If it’s in a dumping place,it free for the taking, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure 😊,it’s ok to take a souvenir, so as long as you don’t take everything 😊. Be safe and God bless you and your family, love Bones 😊
Of course it's worth it!! I'm watching from a trip to the UK, and seeing the dang ol desert mountains makes me homesick!
Nothing like a hot (toddy) to reinvigorate after a hike! Flathead Ford motor out ou that pickup. Turnbuckle for a tram to carry ore x canyon. Bucket elevator to raise ore up into bin then drop into crusher, or something. Definitely tipped over. Looking g into canyon at tracks reminded me of the drive while exploring.........I'll go over that hill..... then I'll turn around!
The Mountain House meals are good, to me.
Welcome to Wonderhussy Wackadoodle Wednesday!!
Clink 🍻
Absolutely it's the friends we make along the way! A heart of gold is priceless💛
Heart of gold and gash of gaping.
@@residentpotato6023 bro. What is your problem?!?
You are one super strong lady. Probably the only place where the scrapers haven't been
Your a very brave lady spending 2 nights all alone out there, deep respect !
You are super special Sarah in the best way!!
Mojave is a great place to explore. I have been poking around there for awhile and I love it. It find it peaceful but I have a tendency to want to see every little thing so I craw all over the place. Looks like you had a great time.
Hello again Wonderhussy. Love the drinking from the bottle. Something very freeing about doing that. You talked about sometimes being lonely. Why not a dog. Even a small pooch would make a world of difference. Yes, there is labor involved but the rewards are many. My pets are my family.
She gave her dog Fred away as well as her cat Nuni.
Excellent video!!! Gladly give props to the name brands showing if it helps to $ your journey. Mountain House is tasty & easy
Spark plugs correct. Flat head v8 probably could be made to run again.
Watch out for the sheep cruising the hood - they are looking for the red hood. Bumpers moved by a mule team.
I wished you would have lingered on the old tractor. I miss the old D2 and D4 Caterpillars on my families ranch when I was a kid.
Car : 1961 Dodge. Truck 1953 Ford ( engine is shown about a minute later) . enjoyed the adventure HUGZ :)
LOL I am the first subscriber to watch your new video!
Love your videos… really appreciate your expertise and drive to get out there and keeping it real!
Thank you, Doreen from Wisconsin😍
Sort by newest comments first and you're actually the 5th.

@Joe Wenzel 🤣🤣 "stolen Valor" .....
Oh Joe the "likes" are for the great attitude Doreen has.
Nothing "stolen" about it😆
Your jealousy is understandable though..... at least to some of us long time watchers lmao
Hey , love your channel girl., You make me want to be more adventurous and get out there on my own, I love hot springs, , camping, whiskey and hot cocoa 🤣💃❤️ your channel is right up my alley🤗
I love it you're so funny ...thanks for another great adventure
I love you Sarah. . Have to explore every trail along the way.
Just singing that old cattle call
The rusted car , that was a 60's Dodge Pioneer, maybe a 1961.
It's never a Zonk when going along for a hike and exploring with the Hussy. But a well deserved Zonk after the hike with a JD and cocoa. And you sang a song from the movie Mars Attacks, a hidden homage to the late Lisa Marie Presley. Take care and travel on !!
It was sung by Nelson Eddie and Jeanette McDonald in a Broadway show from the 50s or late 40s. He was a Canadian Mountie.
Indian love call,l think , l had a record by Nelson Eddie with it
Good motto for explorers..."you don't know.....if you don't go". Feeling lucky that I found this within 5 min of posting. Ain't Wednesday the best.!?!?
Your so cute when you talk and sing❤☮️🌵
I love your channel. It takes my mind away from my stressful days after work. Thank you .
That's what it's all about...exploring and finding whatever...being in the wide open spaces...
Thanks for the entertainment and all the laughs I really enjoy your Channel, Charles
The mine building was less than 100ft from the ore tracks you photographed......slacker' lol
. Wonderhussy is a true survivor . ☺ TY
There have been many times I wanted to go and see a place or something and couldn't find anyone who wanted to go on any kind of adventure..most people I knew thought adventure was stepping off their curb to get into their car and go to the local sports bar.. so solo camping and traveling to go and see remote places was something I've done a lot of .. I recommend to anyone who wants to go and see a place or thing if no one wants to go with you pack up your camper pickup and go for the drive , otherwise you'll just be sitting around in your old age wishing you'd done this or that and never gone anywhere..
... the REAL planet fitness - outdoor treadmill/stair stepper ... love it ... safe travels ...
Great video Sarah. 💕
BRAVO ZULU, WH. Props for passing on the 'way down there' segment on the first hike. It's helluva lot rougher than you imagined.
drinking Jack straight from the bottle. Sweet!!
Thanks for taking us with you :-)
I will continue to say this, you would be fun as hell to share a campfire with. Enjoy the road and smooth travels.
Another excellent video! Yep, 1961 Dodge Dart Phoenix. Ed nailed it.
Thanks!
I wish I were along for the adveture
That mine must have been active for awhile to accumulate that much crap. At least they put it in one big pile. You could date it back if you can find their bottle dump.
yes soda bottles were dated on the bottom my oldest is 1947
Great episode, thanks for taking us along.
Good for you hiking in so far and solo to remote locals. Nice work.
Anytime with you is always worth it Sarah.
And yes you were correct, those were spark plugs 🔌. Always love me some Wonderhussy.
Any place you go is not a bust . Just going along is a awesome trip with you WH ❤😊
thanks for posting , you give lots for me to enjoy as I am home bound. your just incredible😎🤠🤠
❤ DUUUUUUUDE! YES YOU W.H.!
Thanks for bringing me along. I'm going to call this a WIN because it was a fun video. From your fellow Wonderlust Woman (who's kinda like a man) and also loves makeup & costumes!
Signed,
Living (my best life) on my couch in Seattle & Thank God For Sarah for bringing us along on your adventures.
Seriously, you bring light into so many lives. I hope you realize that your efforts at entertaining us are deeply appreciated.🎉
During my Calif days I liked running around in the desert a lot. Thanks for letting me keep doing it vicariously.
Wonderhussy Awesome 👌 thank you 😊 ROCK ON AMEN 🙏
Yippie!
That IS a flat head ford motor!!! So cool!!
thanks for the adventure you truly enjoy life stay safe and wild and free
That big yellow thing looked like an old very large air compressor. Maybe to run jackhammers inside the mine???
air drills for drilling blast holes in the tunnel face. plus supply air
Love your adventurous spirit W. Hussy!!!
Wonderhussy at her best: alone in the desert, in the middle-of-(k)nowhere, exploring canyons like a mountain-goat :-)
Never heard of Daggett before, so I wanted to watch this video. Always seem that towns depend upon rail stations being built in the towns and it helps the development of the town. Wow borax mine helped with the growth of Daggett. The Russian house looks pretty cool and an old jail in its yard, old truck, fire truck and other old equipment in the yard as well is pretty cool. I saw an RV hauling a car go 19:28 19:31 19:31 ing past you while you were walking and talking. Love how they had sign for route 66 on the El Rancho , and the signs showing mileage to places. Old pioneer cementary are always cool to explore. We try to visit old cementaries. The strangest one we have visited is in Keeler. I should tell you about it sometime. Small towns always seem to have a small market. Daggett Garage is pretty cool. Thanks for sharing about the Semighost town of Daggett.
Well Sarah I just want to thank you for all your interesting videos. You have helped me improve my channel (walking with Bruce) after watching you for years. So thanks for that. Bruce
What a great hike and adventure
That was an adventure. Thanks Wonderhussy.
Hi 👋 Wonderhussy 😊 I love watching your explorations 😊😊
Absolutely success 😃. Worth every minute. Great performance Wonderhussy!
The truck was a 53-55 ford
Love your videos, you travel for me when I cant
So much fun Thankyou for taking us with you, it was exciting to see your adventures again 💖 and the views were 👌 👏 😍
Another fabulous adventure!
WOW ❤YOUR AWESOME ❤,,,
❤❤
I wish you were my hiking buddy! Come to Prescott, AZ and I'll show you many old timer mines in the Bradshaw Mountains. Safe travels.
A nother great little trip, well the last 1/3 anyways, and I don't even feel tired 😂.
Have a great day, stay cool or warm depending on your weather !
Wonderhussy you are amazing!!
Thank you for not taking risk when solo
This three part series was pretty great, Wonderhussy. Very creative all you packed in showing yourself exploring old cabins that still see occasional use. I like that you poked into the adits and didn't keep going. The old mine equipment and ruins and the beautiful scenery extra special. Overall, a good tellin' of the pathways infrequently traveled! So valiant!
Could you have done a little recon with your drone to the first structure? It is surprising at how many abandoned mines you're finding & exploring out there. Never a dull moment watching!
Drones aren’t allowed in National Parks.
Anytime u return unscathed from an adventure it is successful! Shiny old bumper, wow.Them were the days,my friend. I once heard someone say what are we leaving our children........plastic!!!! Be safe and healthy .😉
Love all your adventures 😘👍
Love your exploratory inquisitiveness, Sarah! You also do a great job of narration with all your videos too. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with all of us! You rock!😘😎
I have an idea for Wonderhussy. She could host Jeopardy as the guest hostess. She has looks and charm.
Yes, it was worth it.
Coming through again! Thanks WH!
