Hi there. Totally makes sense 😊 Yes - Be our Guest is the only quick service location at present where you can book a table in advance. I would reccomend you do this the full 180 days in advance if possible. This is just for breakfast & lunch. Dinner remains a table service restaraunt requiring two table service credits but you do get to meet the Beast 💖 Hope this answers but please let me know if there is anything else x

We upgraded so we have a table service ,and we are staying at Port Orleans Riverside , we are going in June also a first we usually go in October it’s my husband 60th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary , we are like a couple of big kids we still get as excited as we did the first time we went in 1994 , can’t wait for your vlogs 💕🏴

How did you get to be our guest for 8.30? I’m going in September and was planning on using the buses, but think they only start running 45 minutes before park opening so wouldn’t work for an early reservation
From my memory I'm sure the buses do run earlier than that so we managed with the Disney transportation. Uber's are pretty cheap over there too so is another option - plus Uber would be quicker and wouldnt need to set off as early. Hope this helps 😊
I've caught buses at 6:30 to Magic Kingdom. The info about 45 minutes is outdated. Disney will have buses to ensure you get to your reservation or early morning event. I have an 8am ressie for BOG and they will provide buses as people have ressies for Ohana, Chef Mickey and 1900 PArk Avenue that guests at other resorts need to get to via MK, never worry.
Really informative! We are due to travel in April and have never done the quick service dining plan before, I hadn’t realised how much food was involved!

It was sooo much food. You can convert quick service credits to 3x snack credits which we ended up doing a lot of. You can also convert to a cash value at Ghiradelli. Nothing gets wasted which is good 😊👍🏻

Help dumb this down for me, because I am SOOOO new at this. We are visiting WDW for the first time this fall and got a free dining deal (2 quick per person per day, 2 snack pp/pd, and a refillable mug) •Each meal that you had. Were those all paid completely with quick service credits, or is there any out of pocket payment needed? •When mobile ordering, are the credits automatically on your my Disney experience profile? • Can you use credits for another day (example, if you arrive later and only use one quick service meal that day, are credits that day lost, or can it be redeemed anytime during the trip? I know I have more questions or confusion, but I can't recall right now I've done a crap load of research on everything else Disney World, but I find it crazy that there's almost no info out there to help explain and demonstrate dining/snack credits to first timers. THANK YOU!
Hi - every single meal here was a quick service credit. When you arrive all your credits for the whole trip (and for your whole party) are loaded onto your account. Theres no difference between adults or kids quick service so if you have kids they could order an adults meal. You can also redeem however many you like so you could pay for friends meals if they dont have dining plan. You can view within the app how many credits you have left. You can use these whenever you wish within the trip. We had tons left over so on the final day redeemed the rest. When mobile ordering you can click to redeem credits and itll say how many you have left. At the end of your trip if you have a ton left you can convert one quick service to three snack credits (as long as all of these are redeemed at the same time, for example, we took home 3 bags of goofy candy co for one quick service) or at Ghiradelli in Disney Springs they will convert to a cash value to spend in store. A really good channel to explain things from scratch is Disney in Detail. Hope this helps and happy to answer any questions 😊💖 - PS if I could recommend one thing is it's totally worth reserving Be Our Guest for breakfast or lunch. Its such a great use of a quick service credit but tables book 180 days in advance. You can always cancel with 24hrs notice if you dont want it but it's very difficult to get a last minute booking.

Hi Joy - yes Virgin dont provide transportation to use this service so we used Lyft XL to get a bigger car. Then once check in was done we used another regular Lyft to get to the airport when it was time. - it was lovely to get rid of the suitcases and not need to check in at the airport so would always use this service and enjoy a Disney Springs day 💖
Great video. I'm going back next month with the dining plan for the first time in years, so loved seeing what is on offer. Can I just give you a quick tip if you are staying at a Disney resort and on your last day. Don't bother with the Check in at Disney Springs. I did it for years then someone gave me this tip and it's brilliant if you want extra time in a park on your last day before coming back to pick up the Disney Tragical Express (which is free and better than the Mears transportation Virgin offers). Store your bags in bell services and do check in at OIA instead. I found the check in at DS far too time consuming and a palaver. Because everyone else does the DS check in it means hardly anyone does it at the airport. Worth considering.

Is there anyone from the UK who has used this Dining Plan? I've never been to Disney and am planning on it next year. I know portions are HUGE over in Americas, and I'm really not sure if the dining plan will be worth it when I could probably split meals and wouldn't be able to eat the huge portions. One the other hand, it seems so easy and convienient not having to count pennies and worry about where were eating and how much money were spending.
Hi 👋 Thanks for watching. We did find we had more food than we needed but it worked out great value. I'd say the portions aren't as big at Disney than you would get off site. As it is at the moment Disney are not offering the option to purchase dining plans but we are hoping that may return ❤
Hello, How did it work using mobile ordering? My son is 4 and would like some of the specialty drinks. When I pull the app up it doesn't let me upgrade his drink. It only gives choices like juice or milk. An example would be at Woody's Lunchbox and my son orders a kids meal and wants to Portal Punch. Is this something they can substitute at the counter and not through mobile ordering. Thank you!
Back when we went the quick service credits never differentiated between adults and child. I've been told that now they are separate adults and childrens so I'm not sure that upgrading to a speciality drink is possible with the child's credit. It's a real shame for us as when we go in December our son will be 9 and he enjoyed many meals from the adults menu as in this video. It's all changed from this year so it may be worth asking a cast member this about upgrading the drinks ☹ We only found out this change a few days ago and it's made us feel quite gutted for our December trip as it's not as good value as when we last went.
@@TD3Vlogs I love how much your son enjoyed everything! When I called Disney they just read me what it says online and they didn't deviate or give me any tips (other than asking at the counter). But it does say that everyone is entitled to a specialty drink so I would imagine the substitution can be made at the counter, but that defeats the purpose of mobile ordering. It's our first time using the dining plan so we tried to calculate all the meals ahead of time using those special drinks for my son to make it more bang for our buck. Our trip is next weekend, I will be sure to let you know how it goes doing his ordering for the trip. Thank you for the response!
Thank you very much! I'd say a bit of both? - My husband liked it but I think it has a very strong flavour for me. I'd much prefer the nachos without them as it's quite overpowering. 👍🏻
Hi Angelina. The quick service credits you're given don't specifiy adult or child so it's all just 'quick service'. This meant we often got him the adults instead. If it was table service then it is adult or child so we would have had to have gone for the kids menu there. Hope this helps 😊💖

Hi & Thank you 🙂 We only had the quick service dining plan but Be our Guest breakfast (& lunch) are both eligible. Dinner however is 2 table service credits on the full dining plans. We booked our breakfast and lunch reservations the full 180 days on advance. We would strongly recommend booking as early as you can as it fills up very quickly. Have a great time 👍
Hi there! Yeah when you order you do it through the app where you'd already be logged in to My Disney Experience. It shows up how many credits you've got left and it also showed up credits for the whole party (so everyone doesnt have to order seperately). You can then tick off to use credits which is so much easier! Hope this helps x
I’m confused. You can go in and dine at BOG w/o booking a character meal? And also how do you book it? I tried but asks for my credit card. I have the quick service dining plan. Thank you!
Hi Alisson - BOG is only a character meal at dinner which is 2x table service credits. At lunch and breakfast it is one quick service credit. You book it online through the disney site. It does ask for a credit card to book a table, but it doesn't charge it. You only get charged if you don't show up or cancel within 24 hours. It's a fantastic use of a quick service credit!
For table service restaurants you'd have to pay out of pocket unless you had the classic dining plan which includes table service credits. Its only the quick services places you can use on the quick service dining plan (Can't pay the difference up to table service). The only restaurant we booked was Be Our Guest as this is quick service for breakfast and lunch. Hope this helps 💖
I love this video! I usually do the same old quick service spots when I go to Disney so this was nice to see all the different options and everything looked so tasty. Just curious, where else did you order a pizza in the US that didn’t come with the red sauce? I live in New Jersey and pizza is a way of life here. At least up here in the northeast, all pizzas come with sauce and cheese unless you request without!

Hi, we go in Aug and are on the qs plan, I've read that if your child is aged 3-9 they have to order off the childrens menu is that correct? Some of the food options look a bit boring in some of the restaurants - if he doesn't like anything off this children menu is he okay to order from the adults? x
Hi Gemma. Good news - you are totally ok to do this on the QS plan. The credits that are loaded on to your account do not differentiate between adults & kids meals. Jimmy often ate from the normal menu for the same reason (i.e some of the options are a bit boring on the kids menu). Technically Disney would say that they should order from the kids menu but it's not enforceable on QS. Table service is enforced however as you are interacting with a waiter. Enjoy & make use of the mobile ordering service - it saves you so much time especially at places like Woody's lunch box where the regular queue to get served is always massive 👍

Me and my family always do the Disney dining plan we did the quick service dining plan last time and it was fantastic we ate at polite Pig in Disney Springs captain Cooks Pandora Wolfgang Puck be our guest for breakfast the Mexican quick service in Epcot the Chinese quick service in China Pavilion at Epcot Port Orleans quick service French Quarter where we stayed doctors the little French bakery in the French pavilion in Epcot
Same I cannot do Disney without doing the dining plan it is getting more expensive me and my family have been going to Disney since 1993 and I have some prices go up through the years but I've also seen Disney grow

You certainly can and it is definitely the way to go. Saves so much time and works really well. We rely on the free wifi in the parks and have never had a problem 👍 Have a fantastic time

Hi Rebecca. On that trip it was "free dining" so we didnt way. We have however paid for the QSDP for our trip this december. Looking at the maths it's definitely worth it. Also nice not to worry about budgeting for food and scanning a magic band. You do get even more value if you enjoy alcohol with a meal as in lots of locations this is a drink option. We will be making another one of these videos after our Decemeber trip 😁👍🏻

I think if we ever stay on property then the dinning plan is worth it. We have been to earl of sandwich many times at Disneyland Paris. One of our favourite evening meals.

We upgraded so we have a table service ,and we are staying at Port Orleans Riverside , we are going in June also a first we usually go in October it’s my husband 60th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary , we are like a couple of big kids we still get as excited as we did the first time we went in 1994 , can’t wait for your vlogs 💕🏴

How did you get to be our guest for 8.30? I’m going in September and was planning on using the buses, but think they only start running 45 minutes before park opening so wouldn’t work for an early reservation
From my memory I'm sure the buses do run earlier than that so we managed with the Disney transportation. Uber's are pretty cheap over there too so is another option - plus Uber would be quicker and wouldnt need to set off as early. Hope this helps 😊

I've caught buses at 6:30 to Magic Kingdom. The info about 45 minutes is outdated. Disney will have buses to ensure you get to your reservation or early morning event. I have an 8am ressie for BOG and they will provide buses as people have ressies for Ohana, Chef Mickey and 1900 PArk Avenue that guests at other resorts need to get to via MK, never worry.

It was sooo much food. You can convert quick service credits to 3x snack credits which we ended up doing a lot of. You can also convert to a cash value at Ghiradelli. Nothing gets wasted which is good 😊👍🏻

We are visiting WDW for the first time this fall and got a free dining deal (2 quick per person per day, 2 snack pp/pd, and a refillable mug)
•Each meal that you had. Were those all paid completely with quick service credits, or is there any out of pocket payment needed?
•When mobile ordering, are the credits automatically on your my Disney experience profile?
• Can you use credits for another day (example, if you arrive later and only use one quick service meal that day, are credits that day lost, or can it be redeemed anytime during the trip?
I know I have more questions or confusion, but I can't recall right now
I've done a crap load of research on everything else Disney World, but I find it crazy that there's almost no info out there to help explain and demonstrate dining/snack credits to first timers.

Hi - every single meal here was a quick service credit. When you arrive all your credits for the whole trip (and for your whole party) are loaded onto your account. Theres no difference between adults or kids quick service so if you have kids they could order an adults meal. You can also redeem however many you like so you could pay for friends meals if they dont have dining plan. You can view within the app how many credits you have left. You can use these whenever you wish within the trip. We had tons left over so on the final day redeemed the rest. When mobile ordering you can click to redeem credits and itll say how many you have left. At the end of your trip if you have a ton left you can convert one quick service to three snack credits (as long as all of these are redeemed at the same time, for example, we took home 3 bags of goofy candy co for one quick service) or at Ghiradelli in Disney Springs they will convert to a cash value to spend in store. A really good channel to explain things from scratch is Disney in Detail. Hope this helps and happy to answer any questions 😊💖 - PS if I could recommend one thing is it's totally worth reserving Be Our Guest for breakfast or lunch. Its such a great use of a quick service credit but tables book 180 days in advance. You can always cancel with 24hrs notice if you dont want it but it's very difficult to get a last minute booking.

Hi Joy - yes Virgin dont provide transportation to use this service so we used Lyft XL to get a bigger car. Then once check in was done we used another regular Lyft to get to the airport when it was time. - it was lovely to get rid of the suitcases and not need to check in at the airport so would always use this service and enjoy a Disney Springs day 💖

Great video. I'm going back next month with the dining plan for the first time in years, so loved seeing what is on offer.
Can I just give you a quick tip if you are staying at a Disney resort and on your last day. Don't bother with the Check in at Disney Springs. I did it for years then someone gave me this tip and it's brilliant if you want extra time in a park on your last day before coming back to pick up the Disney Tragical Express (which is free and better than the Mears transportation Virgin offers). Store your bags in bell services and do check in at OIA instead. I found the check in at DS far too time consuming and a palaver. Because everyone else does the DS check in it means hardly anyone does it at the airport. Worth considering.

Is there anyone from the UK who has used this Dining Plan? I've never been to Disney and am planning on it next year. I know portions are HUGE over in Americas, and I'm really not sure if the dining plan will be worth it when I could probably split meals and wouldn't be able to eat the huge portions. One the other hand, it seems so easy and convienient not having to count pennies and worry about where were eating and how much money were spending.
Hi 👋 Thanks for watching. We did find we had more food than we needed but it worked out great value. I'd say the portions aren't as big at Disney than you would get off site. As it is at the moment Disney are not offering the option to purchase dining plans but we are hoping that may return ❤

How did it work using mobile ordering? My son is 4 and would like some of the specialty drinks. When I pull the app up it doesn't let me upgrade his drink. It only gives choices like juice or milk. An example would be at Woody's Lunchbox and my son orders a kids meal and wants to Portal Punch. Is this something they can substitute at the counter and not through mobile ordering. Thank you!
Back when we went the quick service credits never differentiated between adults and child. I've been told that now they are separate adults and childrens so I'm not sure that upgrading to a speciality drink is possible with the child's credit. It's a real shame for us as when we go in December our son will be 9 and he enjoyed many meals from the adults menu as in this video. It's all changed from this year so it may be worth asking a cast member this about upgrading the drinks ☹ We only found out this change a few days ago and it's made us feel quite gutted for our December trip as it's not as good value as when we last went.
@@TD3Vlogs I love how much your son enjoyed everything! When I called Disney they just read me what it says online and they didn't deviate or give me any tips (other than asking at the counter). But it does say that everyone is entitled to a specialty drink so I would imagine the substitution can be made at the counter, but that defeats the purpose of mobile ordering. It's our first time using the dining plan so we tried to calculate all the meals ahead of time using those special drinks for my son to make it more bang for our buck. Our trip is next weekend, I will be sure to let you know how it goes doing his ordering for the trip. Thank you for the response!

Hi Angelina. The quick service credits you're given don't specifiy adult or child so it's all just 'quick service'. This meant we often got him the adults instead. If it was table service then it is adult or child so we would have had to have gone for the kids menu there. Hope this helps 😊💖

Hi & Thank you 🙂 We only had the quick service dining plan but Be our Guest breakfast (& lunch) are both eligible. Dinner however is 2 table service credits on the full dining plans. We booked our breakfast and lunch reservations the full 180 days on advance. We would strongly recommend booking as early as you can as it fills up very quickly. Have a great time 👍
How do you mobile order with the dining plan ? Does it pop up to use the dining credits??
Hi there! Yeah when you order you do it through the app where you'd already be logged in to My Disney Experience. It shows up how many credits you've got left and it also showed up credits for the whole party (so everyone doesnt have to order seperately). You can then tick off to use credits which is so much easier! Hope this helps x
I’m confused. You can go in and dine at BOG w/o booking a character meal? And also how do you book it? I tried but asks for my credit card. I have the quick service dining plan. Thank you!
Hi Alisson - BOG is only a character meal at dinner which is 2x table service credits. At lunch and breakfast it is one quick service credit. You book it online through the disney site. It does ask for a credit card to book a table, but it doesn't charge it. You only get charged if you don't show up or cancel within 24 hours. It's a fantastic use of a quick service credit!
Do you have to pay for the restaurants if you’ve booked the quick service plan? Are they included or are they separate?
For table service restaurants you'd have to pay out of pocket unless you had the classic dining plan which includes table service credits. Its only the quick services places you can use on the quick service dining plan (Can't pay the difference up to table service). The only restaurant we booked was Be Our Guest as this is quick service for breakfast and lunch. Hope this helps 💖

I love this video! I usually do the same old quick service spots when I go to Disney so this was nice to see all the different options and everything looked so tasty. Just curious, where else did you order a pizza in the US that didn’t come with the red sauce? I live in New Jersey and pizza is a way of life here. At least up here in the northeast, all pizzas come with sauce and cheese unless you request without!

Hi, we go in Aug and are on the qs plan, I've read that if your child is aged 3-9 they have to order off the childrens menu is that correct? Some of the food options look a bit boring in some of the restaurants - if he doesn't like anything off this children menu is he okay to order from the adults? x
Hi Gemma. Good news - you are totally ok to do this on the QS plan. The credits that are loaded on to your account do not differentiate between adults & kids meals. Jimmy often ate from the normal menu for the same reason (i.e some of the options are a bit boring on the kids menu). Technically Disney would say that they should order from the kids menu but it's not enforceable on QS. Table service is enforced however as you are interacting with a waiter. Enjoy & make use of the mobile ordering service - it saves you so much time especially at places like Woody's lunch box where the regular queue to get served is always massive 👍

Me and my family always do the Disney dining plan we did the quick service dining plan last time and it was fantastic we ate at polite Pig in Disney Springs captain Cooks Pandora Wolfgang Puck be our guest for breakfast the Mexican quick service in Epcot the Chinese quick service in China Pavilion at Epcot Port Orleans quick service French Quarter where we stayed doctors the little French bakery in the French pavilion in Epcot
I don't think we would do Disney without the dining plan now but it is getting very, very expensive to visit
Same I cannot do Disney without doing the dining plan it is getting more expensive me and my family have been going to Disney since 1993 and I have some prices go up through the years but I've also seen Disney grow

You certainly can and it is definitely the way to go. Saves so much time and works really well. We rely on the free wifi in the parks and have never had a problem 👍 Have a fantastic time

Hi Rebecca. On that trip it was "free dining" so we didnt way. We have however paid for the QSDP for our trip this december. Looking at the maths it's definitely worth it. Also nice not to worry about budgeting for food and scanning a magic band. You do get even more value if you enjoy alcohol with a meal as in lots of locations this is a drink option. We will be making another one of these videos after our Decemeber trip 😁👍🏻

We have been to earl of sandwich many times at Disneyland Paris. One of our favourite evening meals.
