Thank you for this video! Very fun to watch! I am curious, the students at the university in your class, what is the average rank? Is there a certain ranking requirement to get into the program?
@@rubikscubeearf6218 Thank you for watching the video. To answer your question, the average grade of students is 3rd Dan with some taking their Yondan in their final year of University. As for the Bekka course there is no limit on grade for the various Budo, however Kendo and Judo prefer you to have at least 1st Dan. Hope this helps.
Hi Dave, thank you for watching!!! And getting in touch. I am very grateful for the platform that you created for me and for the years I spent learning from you. From the age of 15 to early 20’s I am very grateful for your teaching and all the amazing people that made up your dojo that have always supported me on my journey.
Fantastic video. We are honoured to have a Kendoka from the UK featured on the channel. His Kendo is quite beautiful and I take inspiration from his example.

I did all this in 1980 and ended up teaching professionally in Japan. Do your best Nick!
