They are taking the fun arcady mechanics of the last game, improving it and adding a story onto it. I had a blast with grid 2019 and cant wait to get this game, already finished the ea play demo and i just cant way to get more
The BTCC Laguna at 11:45 took me straight back to 1998 with TOCA 2... The memories of that are so vivid, i had to go take a look at some gameplay. There aren't games like that anymore.
im shocked how good the game feels to play, the physics feel pretty nice from the trial events. if GT7 wasn't releasing in a couple days i wouldve bought this

As bad of a reputation as Renault gets, the Laguna was a solid, SOLID Touring Car that did well in the 90s, especially in 1994 where it got Alain Menu 2nd for the driver's title and then in 1997 with Menu finally winning and then Plato coming 3rd.
I just finished the story. And man it goes back so much nostalgia. And not just back to race driver grid. But all the way back to the V8 supercars race driver game. So for that. I really enjoyed it. The end was a shock too but also makes sense for the career part of the game. They done an awesome job there 😁😁 over all. The game is awesome. The driving physics are a huge improvement and also collisions! Looking forward to the updates!
Loving this game so far. 15 hours in 3 days.. Gradually increasing realism and difficulty. Now I'm playing first person with no helps at all, legend IA difficulty but automatic shift.. Grid legends is hands down the most complete grid game ever.. A lot of stuff to do and unlock... Story mode is pure FUN, intriguing and immersive.. Hope DLCs will be even better
The story aspect is kinda cool but my problem is with the same thing most racing games have as an issue: You HAVE to drive other cars. And I don't want that. I want the few cars I want, and build those up to be fast or whatever, and be able to play through the campaign like that. I don't want to drive super speedy cars, just road cars. :/

Holy shit... Ryan McKane is the player you play as in ToCa Race driver the game that was the predecessor to racedriver grid., who becomes a racing driver after his Dad passes away in a crash. You as Ryan are always living in the shadow of your brother Donnie too... So cool, yet odd they chose to make the McKane's the villain of this story.
That was very awesome videos of those racing games of Grid Legends and the sport cars in that game and the customization of those sport cars and the gameplay of that Grid Legend racing games and also good job to this RUclipsr guy on making this videos for this day. I hope that this RUclipsr guy will continue to make good videos about any new racing games, any new sport cars, any new customization of those sport cars and also any new gameplay of Grid Legends, Need for Speed, Forza Horizon 5 racing games because it was interesting and entertaining to me until this day.
So about the nemesis system.... Rubbing.. Bumping.... Smacking..... Full bust attacks do trigger it.... And the nemesis will keep attempting to kill you.... Break check you.... Brake late to smack you.... So yep... It's normal xD.... You just have to be prepared... Also if the nemesis annoys you enough / causes you trouble.... The nemesis tag gets taken off.... (it can still be re-triggered if you do the same) so yea..... That's why you had 2 nemesis triggers on mckane
This game has immense potential, the quality of the game itself is phenomenal but the name and marketing just kills it, like seriously.. grid legends? That sounds like a mobile game, the amount of games I know that have legends in them, Apex legends, fr legends, shadowgun legends, raid shadow legends, legend of Zelda, and now this game GRID Legends, the second thing is the marketing, it released straight after gran turismo 7, and then had zero marketing, like it came out of nowhere, nobody knows what this game is and simply, GRID is at least a recognizable franchise if you’re really into racing games but, it’s nothing ultra famous like Gran Turismo, or Forza Motorsport. Which brings me to the conclusion that this game in its really early stages still has a chance while it can to market itself, by releasing more trailers, making more updates, and sponsoring loads of popular racing game RUclipsrs. That will instantly boost the games popularity and recognition.

The time attack event seem kinda broken in normal career mode, like when it auto finishes the ai after I do my final lap they go insane and pickup 3-5 seconds over the fastest laps so far. Anyone else experiencing this? Yes I am on legend difficulty.
only reason you winning first place is because you dont have the AI on legends mode. give it a try and youll notices the differences on not winning every event lol.
A proper career mode, way better physics, way better multi-player integration with cross play, more cars and tracks with more to come, more race types( Electric, Elimination, Multi Class, Drift, Stadium Trucks). Probably some stuff I'm missing but yeah, pretty darn different.
