Hi, I played GTA2 mostly in 2011, but also a bit in 2000 when it was released on Windows. In 2011 I reached the Industrial area. And nowadays since 2 months I play it on some PS1 emulators on my Android phone. I thought I remembered that it was 4 cop heads wanted level maximum in Downtown erea, then 5 for the Industrial area except 1 mission where it was 6, then 6 cop heads in the Industrial area. But lately I reached the Residential area on that Playstation 1 emulator and I find out that it was not 5 but 6 cop heads the maximum wanted level also in the Residential erea. Is it the same with the Windows pc version as on PS1? It's strange. It is also impossible to survive long except if the player is hiding on the upper road that starts from the North West of the Zabayatsu village, goes above the Mobile RV Park and ends ar the bottom of the South of Xenoton and leads to a closed door(that I believe if I remember correctly gets open after some mission, I forgot which one.) There no enforcement tank goes, only some soldiers though. In the Downtown erea I roved in my tank for hours sometimes, collecting up to 120 000 000 dollars. But with this configuration I can barely get a few hundred thousands before I get 6 cop heads wanted level. Any thoughts? Cheers, Thomas from Belgium

i'm pretty sure it's 4 max for downtown, 5 for residential and 6 for industrial (at least that's what i read on the wiki and my gameplay seems to confirm it)

You have to be in the industrial district to get the maximum wanted level. Similar to the "3D Universe" GTA games where you will need to be in the last "island" of the map to get the maximum 6 star wanted level.
