Born and raised in Spokane, Tommy and the Spokane Indians were a powerhouse. Garvey, Lopes, Yeager, Cry, Bobby Valentine,,,,it goes on ,,,,and I was 9years old! Double header Saturday was something to look forward to.
Lasorda owned a ristorante Italiano in Chi-Town? I'd have loved to chow down there. I was in St. Louis in summer '98 to see two Cards games and ate at such a place on "The Hill (an old Italian neighborhood, I'm told, where Garagiola and Berra hailed from)" named LoRusso's. Fabulous eats.
Baseball just isn't like this anymore. I miss it
"Let's see if we can lip-read." I can tell you every other word out of Tommy's mouth begins with an F.
Opinion of King man's performance
The good old days of baseball. No stupid timer clock. No stopping the game so the upms can review a play.
Just be happy we lived during that time 😊
@thegreatrenaldo7718 I am. Very happy.
Who?
Some people use commas, Tommy used F-words.
Nothing like a Cubs game and a cold Bud. Harry and Stone were so much fun.
Vin was way better and Budweiser sucks!!! 😂...so do the Cubs!
Old Style
Harry Carey's reaction, "YAY WE GET THE RUN!!!"
RIP Harry Caray, Don Zimmer, & Tommy Lasorda.
cant believe they're all gone
legends
And umpires Bob Engel, Fred Brocklander and Dutch Rennert.
And now Vin Scully
Great memories of Harry Caray calling White Sox games with Jimmy Piersall back in the 70’s, a very entertaining duo.
He pushed Hatcher like he was Kurt Bevaqua.
LOL LOL that comeback comment by Lasorda was PRICELESS.
From a fan of a legend (Vin Scully) to another: Baseball misses you Harry! 😞 RIP
This is classic. This should be in a museum.
As an old soul person for 1989, this is absolutely hilarious when I see Tommy gets tossed 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not here, ump.only directed him back to dugout.
@@terrytitus5291umpires were so reasonably patient with managers back then. I miss that in today’s MLB.
@@johnnylafriegas677 Todays umpires are trying to make the game about them.

My buddy's dad's description of Mickey Hatcher "He looks like an asshole turned inside out"
Hahahaha , watch out Hatcher… Tommy don’t play that !!! RIP Mr. Lasorda , you were very exciting to watch and was just great for the game !!! 🙏🏽
Lasorda, Zimmer,...Cubs day games. You gotta LOVE baseball. ⚾️
Hatcher was practicing his future coaching skills.

Should have asked Tommy about Dave Kingmans performance
Biggest argument for not getting ejected!
Lifetime Giants fan.., but you had to love Tommy as a baseball guy....
How did you like that performance Tommy?? Performance. Lol
Gary Varsho.. Pride of Oshkosh Wisconsin
Dutch Rennert told Tommy to get his ass back in the dugout
I would love to see the face of Eddie Murray!
Tommy Lasorda when. He was in Chicago u would likely 👀 his Italian Restaurant downtown

LaSorda was always a bully
Grow up
Nah, he was cast from the same mold as Earl Weaver, excellent baseball minds and great entertainers.😂
