*Side Note:* Glacius has more than 1 Shadow Move. To know more about Shadow Moves, I recommend watching my latest Fulgore Tutorial that was released a few months ago.
I recently purchased a SNES mini and downloaded killer instinct from 1995. I am 34 years old, and I played this game as a kid. I was so damn good back then. I’m getting better now, but it hurts my thumbs lol. I enjoy all your videos. Subscribed! 👍 Keep the content coming.
Your comments mean a lot to me, I appreciate it! Btw, for the thumb problem, I would suggest to play on PC with an emulator and a PS4 controller. The dpad on the PS4 controller doesn't hurt the thumb. ☺️
Yep those are brutal indeed! 😆 nowadays we finally have a lot more options in regards to the controllers we can use to play the game, our thumbs will thank us later! 😂
Fantastic tutorial that also works as a great primer to KI combos in general! Loved the editing with both the commands and gameplay that made it easy to follow what you were doing
Yea hes quite a difficult character since hes pretty unsafe. Watching pro players playing glacius vs glacius is like the most Boring thing in the world because of that reason lol. Glad you liked the tuto, I'm working on eyedol tutorial atm. 😀
I honestly don't remember but I know what you are talking about...or perhaps was it on KI2? Because I tried to find out how to do it earlier today but to no avail
@lajeandom the part at 6:35 that's where u hold down forward for a few seconds den back medium punch I wasn't holding down forward long enough for the combo to come out and I kept repeating back forward medium punch when that's not how u do it
@@dericthomas466 I think you're are misunderstanding the formula. My recent Fulgore tutorial uses a better icon system but yea basically, the ''stick icon'' means HOLD FORWARD or HOLD BACKWARD....it doesn't mean hold down forward or wtv. So when you will do the forward High Punch, you keep holding forward there, then, while you're holding forward, you can press Medium Punch for the Autodouble, and near the end of your autodouble, you press (Back Arrow + Medium Punch). I strongly recommend watching my recent fulgore tutorial, the icons and formulas are simpler to follow and you will understand better from there.
@@noobsaibot4097 that's how they are officially named (ghost ultras)? And yes that's correct, although I am not sure for thunder if it's arcade only, would have to check.
Grwat video but ypu did not show the complete way to do an Ultra Combo. I know it has to do with ⬅️➡️+X but is that afyer you start a killer combo or what? I cant remember how the ultrs is done witb Glacius after so many years.
@cryptidandparanormalkingdo347 any ultra command has to be done during a combo of minimum 3 hits. Some characters you have to charge the back button, if you just press back and then forward sometimes it won't work...I don't remember if Glscius is one of those I would have to test
@@lajeandom i used to dominate Glacius on the arcade 30 years ago in 94 and then SNES in 95 but i forgot all tge combos in the game. Just bought the Snes with Killer Instinct and a “lot”of other games a month ago and its frustrating trying to remember the ultra combos of each Character after so many years. My favorite characters in order to was, 1. Glacius 2. Orchid 3. Thunder 4. Saberwolf 5. Jago
Why cant nobody give the actual start to finish sequence for an ultra combo? Like glacius i know it starts with a starter combo then back medium punch but then what to finish the ultra combo? Its not just ⬅️ ➡️ + X.
I think you are confused with the very concept of an Ultra. You do any combo, then during the combo, you enter the ultra input. Some back forward inputs need to be charged for some characters. I don't know if glacius needs to be charged, will have to check. But yea it's either back+ forward or if that doesn't work then it's charged back + forward

Didn't expect to binge KI combo videos tonight. Totally digging em bro. Pure nostalgia.

That's a wholesome comment my friend thank you so much, I have many other KI tutorials as well, working on sabrewulf for the next one. 😀
The best tutorial out there....good job
Thank you glad you enjoy my tutorials 😀
I needed a tutorial like this! I main Glacius in all three games and KI1 Glacius is the one I still have trouble with.

Grear video. Listen, can You explain how to do the liquidize upercut teleport to the back of the oponent?

qcf+hk and then qcb+mk. Or qcf+mk and then qcb+hk. Do the second motion when the first liquidize starts moving
Good to see arcade version too. 👍
@@lajeandom merci !
Can you do Orchid Next please as soon as you can?
I am currently working on Orchid, thx for your patience. ^^
@@lajeandom excellent, thank you so much
Cool. Thanks.
Ure welcome ^^
Are there any longer combos that start with the puddle uppercut?
of course, you can use that move as a linker if I am not mistaken. ^^
The combo when u hold down forward doesn't work for me he does a complete different combo am i doing it wrong?
Hummm well there's your problem! There is no Combo in the video with an "hold down forward" motion 😅

@lajeandom true I was definitely misreading it
Another vid idea- can you show how to do the “air/ghost” ultra combo w TJ Combo?
Could be an interesting video...I was thinking about a video compiling many buggy combos and how to do them.
