    Why does saturation point occur in OCC?

      As it is open circuited then there haven't any kind of flow of current in stator. So there have not any kind demagnetising effect .After sometime due to saturation of core (maximum flux produce and flow through the core) saturation of voltage is occurring due to constant speed in OCC of Alternator.

      killer chora " occ me saturation point is liye nai hota h q ki waha par graph field current aur armature current je beech me banta h.... To jaisa ki ham log jante h ki jitna field current denge utha hame armature current milega, is liye yaha par koi saturation point nai hota h..... And waha par kya h ko aik fixed generated emf h isliye waha saturation point milta h.....
