Love listening to you play Brother Steve. My time with you at Christian Center & The Bread of Life Band was a beautiful learning experience for me. I remember you playing my song "He Will" with the band and choir. That was a blessing I will never forget. Thanks for the memories my friend
Remember the "prayer room" at CC! Thanks for writing. Hope you are doing well. I'm enjoying this "old age" inspiration to do something new. It's returning to my original gift - piano. God bless you.
By the way, I can't recall your "I Will" What would be the easiest way to sing a few bars (well least one verse and chorus) of it for me? email? text recording on iphone?
@@stevedallaspiano777 Thank for the reply Steve. I remember everything from CC. Was a beautiful growing experience for me. I still talk occasionally with Mike Merrill. We have played together several times just for fun. I haven't seen much of anyone else from those days in years. I still play a little at home just for fun. I will be following your videos ,and praying for your outreach.
A follow up. From Jeff, in Pasadena. You inspired me to find this song in a fake book and get to work. It’s taken a week, mostly because I found the bridge quite unusual and difficult to count. And I also took a deep dive learning about the writers and listening to many renditions. But it’s been worth it. Thanks for the memory.
@@stevedallaspiano777 Um … I love music and playing. Musicians I’ve known are those able to think through chord progressions and musical theories in perfect time. Ask me what a harmonic minor scale is and I’ll run to Wikipedia and get back to you in a few … even though I’ve learned this hundreds of times. And, I’ve used one to play songs thousands of times. It’s the climb up the ladder one way, come down another scale, I think.
Great nightcap, love a lyric that paints a picture. Thanks.
Love this video and performance. Beautiful song. Thank you for making this and sharing it!
Hi Ray! how kind of you to comment! Stay in touch
I'm a fan of your work Steve. We danced with Manon in our living room on your song. Thank you, Lucas
I lost track of you comment. Thanks for staying touch. Greet Manon!

Here's a video. Not the best ,but gets the basics across.

Cool. That's what I love about doing this - have to dig into songs I haven't done for years and learning new one. Nice to hear you are a musician!
