The Dead Sea Scrolls, also called the Qumran Caves Scrolls, are a set of ancient Jewish manuscripts from the Second Temple period.
They were discovered over a period of 10 years, between 1946 and 1956, at the Qumran Caves near Ein Feshkha in the West Bank, on the northern shore of the Dead Sea. Dating from the 3rd century BCE to the 1st century CE,[1] the Dead Sea Scrolls are considered to be a keystone in the history of archaeology with great historical, religious, and linguistic significance because they include the oldest surviving manuscripts of entire books later included in the biblical canons, along with extra-biblical and deuterocanonical manuscripts that preserve evidence of the diversity of religious thought in late Second Temple Judaism. At the same time, they cast new light on the emergence of Christianity and of Rabbinic Judaism. [2] Almost all of the 15,000 scrolls and scroll fragments are held in the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum, located in the city of Jerusalem. The Israeli government's custody of the Dead Sea Scrolls is disputed by Jordan and the Palestinian Authority on territorial, legal, and humanitarian grounds - they were mostly discovered following the Jordanian annexation of the West Bank and were acquired by Israel after Jordan lost the 1967 Arab-Israeli War[3] - whilst Israel's claims are primarily based

Exactly. Early Christian sects, now disregarded by modern Christendom, understood the truth that Jesus was not God.
Some foolish modern proselytising types act like the council of Nicaeae didn't even happen.
This is not true. The Gospel of John begins with who Christ is, which is the second Person of the Trinity. I just read Irenaeus who claimed the trinity.

@@jobugeorge6578 Are you talking about all the Gospels in our prophet time. Then no most of them was corrupted.
@@animeshorts1006 What the Christians had at that time
The four Gospels were formed and in acceptable condition during the days of Muhammad.
Muhammad had met with Christian monks, he had spend time discussing with them, he knew the very basics of the Christian theology to an acceptable degree I suppose.
The trinity was agreed upon by most church fathers as we can see in their writings in the first century. The council of Nicaea was called because a branch of Christians said Jesus was a created being. If you do a proper exegesis of the text, you can clearly see the trinity, even in the Old Testament.
Irenaeus believes in the Trinity also, and he helped to develop the Trinitarian theology. He distinguishes the three entities in their eternal unity through attributing to them different functions in the economy. God/Father is the source of the creative and redemptive work, while Logos/Son and Sophia/Spirit enact the work.
In my long journey through ïslåm, two aspects stand out that fortify the faith of believers , especially the neo converts, these are;
1. The Kabbah : This black stone cube shaped edifice, once a pagan place of worship, housing 360 idols of which idol of allat was one, was, was circumbulated in worship by NAKED pagans right till the time they were prevented by MühamMãd, 6 years after Hijra and now the most sacred site in Islam, known as the bayt Allah (House of God)
2. Hajr-e-Aswad - literally the black stone on which the pagan women rubbed their menstrual discharges for fertility, then made an object of veneration by MühamMãd and his followers, but later taken away by the Qarmations of Bahrain, under the Qarmatian leader, Abu Tahir al-Qarmati in 930 CE, broken into eight pieces and used in the latrine for 22 years, brought back to Mecca on payment of ransom by the Caliphate and now again an object of veneration, on which pilgrims fall over and kiss it for expiation of their sins !!!
Really amazing history !!!
Muhammad - HE SUCKED HIS GRANDSON'S TONGUE BY PUTTING HIS MOUTH IN HIS MOUTH.

Then the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, opened his mouth and put his mouth in his mouth. Then he said, O Allah, I love him, so love him and the one who loves him!"

Islam: Truth or Myth? start page
Interestingly, not many Muslims want to accept that Allah was already being worshipped at the Ka'ba in Mecca by Arab pagans before Muhammad came. Some Muslims become angry when they are confronted with this fact. But history is not on their side. Pre- Islamic literature has proved this." (Who Is This Allah?, G. J. O. Moshay, 1994, p 138)
C "But history establishes beyond the shadow of doubt that even the pagan Arabs, before Muhammad's time, knew their chief god by the name of Allah and even, in a sense, proclaimed his unity... Among the pagan Arabs this term denoted the chief god of their pantheon, the Kaaba, with its three hundred and sixty idols." (The Moslem Doctrine of God, Samuel M. Zwemer 1905, p 24-25)
In fact, he did not at first intend to establish a new religion, but rather to reform the belief in Allah which already existed, and to show what this belief truly signified and rightfully demanded. (Mohammed: The man and his faith, Tor Andrae, 1936, Translated by Theophil Menzel, 1960, p13-30)
The pre-Islamic origin of "Allah"
1. There is absolutely no question that Allah was worshipped by the pagan Arabs as one of many polytheistic gods. 2. Allah was worshipped in the Kabah at Mecca before Muhammad was born. Muhammad merely proclaimed a god the Meccans were already familiar with. The pagan Arabs never accused Muhammad of preaching a different Allah than the one they already worshipped.
3. Many scholars say "Allah" is derived from a compound Arabic word, AL + ILAH Allah. "Ilah" in Arabic is "God" and "Al" in Arabic is a definite article like our word "the". So from an English equivalent "Allah" comes from "The God". Others, like Arthur Jeffery say, "The common theory is that it is formed from ilah, the common word for a god, and the article al; thus al-ilah, the god," becomes Allah, "God." This theory, however, is untenable. In fact, the name is one of the words borrowed into the language in pre-Islamic times from Aramaic." (Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 85) 4. Although "Allah" has become known as the proper name for the Muslim god, Allah is not a name, but a descriptor that
means literally, "the god". All pagan cultures have these generic terms that refer to their "top god" as "the god". In
comparison to the perfect monotheism of Judaism and Christianity, "Allah" was originally no more a proper name for the Muslim God, than the word Hebrew "elohim" (god) or Greek "theos" (god) are proper names of the one true God of the Bible. "Jehovah" is the only revealed proper name for the "Elohim" of the Old Testament (Ex 3:13; 6:3) and "Jesus" is the only revealed proper name of "Theos" in the New Testament. (Acts 4:12) Islam has no proper name for their god, but merely transformed, by universal use and confusion, the generic Allah into a proper name. So although today, Muslims use "Allah" as a proper name, it was never used this way originally. Allah, therefore is equivalent to "elohim" and "ho theos" but not "Jehovah" or "Jesus". Allah is not the name of the nameless Muslim God. However Muslims will claim that Allah is the name of God that corresponds to Jehovah. Both the Father and the Son are called "ho theos" (The God). Jesus is called "The God" many times in the New Testament: John 20:28; Heb 1:8. An important conclusion from this, is that the mere fact that "Allah" is equivalent to "elohim" and "ho theos" does not mean they are directly corresponded. It certainly
doesn't prove Allah is the same as the God of the Old or New Testament. It does not prove that Muslim's worship the same God as Christians. If this correspondence proved the Muslim god was the same as the Christian God, then because pagan religions also have generics that correspond to "the god" (Allah), this correspondence would also prove that Allah is the same god as the Buddhist god, for Buddhists also refer to their god as "the god".
What scholars say about the origin of the word "Allah":
1. It is not related that the Black Stone was connected with any special god. In the Ka'ba was the statue of the god Hubal who might be called the god of Mecca and of the Ka'ba. Caetani gives great prominence to the connection between the Ka'ba and Hubal. Besides him, however, al-Lat, al-'Uzza, and al-Manat were worshipped and are mentioned in the Kur'an; Hubal is never mentioned there. What position Allah held beside these is not exactly known. The Islamic tradition has certainly elevated him at the expense of other deities. It may be considered certain that the Black Stone was not the only idol in or at the Ka'ba. The Makam Ibrahim was of course a sacred stone from very early times. Its
name has not been handed down. Beside it several idols are mentioned, among them the 360 statues. (First Encyclopedia of Islam. EJ Brill, 1987, Islam, p. 587-591) 2. "The verses of the Qur'an make it clear that the very name Allah existed in the Jahiliyya or pre-Islamic Arabia. Certain pagan tribes believed in a god whom they called 'Allah' and whom they believed to be the creator of heaven and earth and holder of the highest rank in the hierarchy of the gods. It is well known that the Quraish as well as other tribes
believed in Allah, whom they designated as the 'Lord of the House' (i.e., of the Ka'ba)...It is therefore clear that the
Qur'anic conception of Allah is not entirely new." (A Guide to the Contents of the Qur'an, Faruq Sherif, (Reading, 1995),
pgs. 21-22., Muslim) According to al-Masudi (Murudj, iv. 47), certain people have regarded the Ka'ba as a temple devoted to the sun, the moon and the five planets. The 360 idols placed round the Ka'ba also point in this direction. It can therefore hardly be denied
3. that traces exist of an astral symbolism. At the same time one can safely say that there can be no question of any general conception on these lines. The cult at the Ka'ba was in the heathen period syncretic as is usual in heathenism. (First
Encyclopedia of Islam, E.J. Brill, 1987, Islam, p. 587-591) 4. The name Allah, as the Qur'an itself is witness, was well known in pre-Islamic Arabia. Indeed, both it and its feminine form, Allat, are found not infrequently among the theophorous names in inscriptions from North Arabia. The common theory is that it is formed from ilah, the common word for a god, and the article al-; thus al-ilah, the god," becomes Allah,
"God." This theory, however, is untenable. In fact, the name is one of the words borrowed into the language in pre- Islamic times from Aramaic. (Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, Arthur Jeffery, 1958, p 85)
5. "If a Muslim says, "Your God and our God is the same," either he does not understand who Allah and Christ really are, or he intentionally glosses over the deep-rooted differences." (Who Is Allah In Islam?, Abd-Al Masih, Light of Life, 1985, р.
36.)
6. Now there dwelt in Mecca a god called Allah. He was the provider, the most powerful of all the local deities, the one to
whom every Meccan turned in time of need. But, for all his power, Allah was a remote god. At the time of Muhammad, however, he was on the ascendancy. He had replaced the moon god as lord of the Kaaba although still relegated to an inferior position below various tribal idols and three powerful goddesses: al-Manat, goddess of fate, al-Lat, mother of the gods, and al-Uzza, the planet Venus. (Islam and the Arabs, Rom Landau, 1958 р 11-21) 7. Muhammad no more invented Allah than he did al-Lat, al-Uzza, and Manat. The Cult of the deity termed simply "the
god" (al-ilah) was known throughout southern Syria and northern Arabia," and it was obviously of central importance in
Mecca, where the building called the Ka'ba was indisputably his house. Indeed, the Muslim profession of faith, 11 there is no ilah except al-ilah," attests to precisely that point: the Quraysh are being called upon to repudiate the very existence of all the other gods save this one. It seems equally certain that Allah was not merely a god in Mecca but was widely regarded as the "high god," the chief and head of the Meccan pantheon, perhaps the result, as has been argued, of a natural progression toward henotheism or of the growing influence of Jews and Christians in the peninsula." The most convincing piece of evidence that the latter was at work is the fact that of all the gods of Mecca, Allah alone was not represented by an idol. (The Hajj, F. E. Peters, p 3-41, 1994)
8. Allah, we can be sure, was neither an unknown nor an unimportant deity to the Quraysh when Muhammad began preaching his worship at Mecca. What is equally certain is that Allah had what the Quran disdainfully calls "associates": other gods and goddesses who shared both his cult and his shrine. The processional chant of the pagans of the Age of
Barbarism was, we are told, "Here I am, O Allah, here I am; You have no partner except such a partner as You have; You possess him and all that is his." 103 The last clause may reflect what we have already seen was an emerging tendency toward henotheism, the recognition of Allah as the "high god" of Mecca. But it was not sufficient for Muslims, who put in its place their own manifestly monotheistic hymn: "Here I am, O Allah, here I am; You have no partner; the praise and the grace are Yours, and the empire; You have no partner." (The Hajj, F. E. Peters, p 3-41, 1994)

*WHY NOT A SINGLE PROPHET OF GOD IN THE BIBLE ITSELF EVER TAUGHT TRINITY?*
There are many things the prophets of God in the Bible didn't mention and didn't analyze.
It's like reading your nickname "Free Palestine" and saying: "This man doesn't explain to us the extension of Palestine. Is it 'from the River to the Sea', 'the borders of '67' or 'Gaza plus the West Bank'?".
The prophets of the Bible emphasized and stressed the importance of monotheism.
They didn't speak of the relation between God and Man. They didn't explain what was the ontological difference between the heavenly Adam and the earthly "fallen" one. Were they the same or not? Does Man still breath God's "breath of life" in his nostrils, is he still "in the image and likeness of God"? If he is not, how such a perfect Being could seem if he could appeared again?
The prophets didn't explain Genesis 3:22, where the God(s) regard that "man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil". Wasn't Adam "like one of us" before? What was the difference?
The prophets taught their people how to be just in the presence of God. They gave them rules and regulations - the Law. They didn't teach men how to bypass the Cheruv in the entrance, and reintegrate into God's Kingdom.
They simply didn’t understand the full picture then, they are called EARLY Church Fathers for a reason, they didn’t know everything about the New Testament, but they found through the texts and even back in the Old Testament, that the Trinitarian Doctrine was actively implied in the writings.
your comment is exactly what he debunking. think about what you said. the early fathers who knew the most, understood the languages of Jesus the most *didnt* understand him? but the ones who didnt understand those languages did??
@@sadiariaz6183 The Early Church fathers did not know the most, compare them to our smartest and most wisest Christians today and what they knew then was pretty basic. Why do you think we have Orthodox and Catholic churches, there was a split because of interpretation differences. Today Christians know a lot more because we have better interpreted the New and Old Testament and how they fit together neatly. So because of *early* interpreting, the church fathers did not originally see the trinitarian doctrine, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t there. The Early and Current Church Fathers are still human like your Early and Current Sheiks and Imán, they make mistakes and interpret wrong in many places. What follows are eight heresies, ranging from sects that see Jesus Christ as purely divine, to others which see him as purely human.
Sabellianism: Sabellianism is named for its founder Sabellius (fl. 2nd century). It is sometimes referred to as modalistic monarchianism. The father, son, and holy ghost are three modes, roles, or faces of a single person, God. This, of course, implies that Jesus Christ was purely divine, without humanness, and therefore could not truly have suffered or died.
Docetism: The name comes from the Greek word dokesis, meaning "to seem." Along the same lines as Sabellianism, Docetism says that Christ was not a real human being and did not have a real human body. He only seemed to be human to us. In a nutshell...
Christ only (no Jesus)
Monophysitism: Monophysite comes from the Greek words for "one body." This heresy says that Jesus Christ was a joining of the eternal Logos with the human person Jesus, which occured at incarnation. He therefore is two separate natures joined in one body. Monophysitism is very much alive in several present-day Egyptian and Middle Eastern sects of Christianity.
Jesus
> Jesus Christ
Christ
Adoptionism: Adoptionism says that Jesus was a human being who was "adopted" by God at his conception, at which point he developed a divine nature. Later versions sometimes suggest that he was adopted later, such as when he was baptized by John the Baptist.
Jesus > Christ
Nestorianism: Supposedly, Nestorius, Patriarch of Antioch (fl. 410), believed that Jesus Christ had two natures -- man and God -- which remained separate throughout his period on earth. This is not really what Nestor said (although he did deny virgin birth) but the name stuck. You can still find a few Nestorian churches in Iran.
Jesus......
Christ......
Apollinarianism: Named for Apollinaris of Laodicea (fl. 350), this heresy says that Jesus Christ was not a real man, but not totally divine either. Apollinarians suggested that he had a human body and a human soul, but his mind was taken over by the eternal Logos.
Je(Christ)sus
Arianism: Arianism is named after Arius (c. 250 - c. 336), a priest in Alexandria. This is considered the most serious heresy. Jesus Christ was thought of as a special creation by God for man's salvation. Arianism was the form of Christianity that the Goths adhered to, and it was popular in all the areas they conquered, including Italy, Spain, and Africa.

This literally isn’t true, he said 90% of the church fathers in the the first 3 centuries didn’t believe in the trinity?!? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 what?!?😂😂😂 that’s not even close to true. I understand the trinity is hard for many to understand, The fact that there can be one single entity that’s comprised of 3 parts… it’s even hard for many Christians to articulate, but the fact is, virtually all Christians throughout history are monotheists, and virtually ALL of them believed in the 3 conceptions of a single God, one being the Father, Holy Spirit & the son Jesus, the son of God, the Messiah, who came to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament and who will again return to judge the living & the dead.
There has been in the past & will continue to be Christians who have different ways of articulating the trinity and even some will struggle to comprehend it, but we all believe it because that’s what’s clearly stated in the scriptures both in the Old Testament and the Gospels.

The current mainstream teaching in Christianity is that God is a coequal, coeternal, one-substance trinity, and that Jesus Christ is God. This doctrine is considered by many as the cornerstone of Christianity, but where did this doctrine come from? The historical record is overwhelming that the church of the first three centuries did not worship God as a coequal, coeternal, consubstantial, one-substance three in one mysterious godhead. The early church worshipped one God and believed in a subordinate Son. The trinity originated with Babylon, and was passed on to most of the world's religions. This polytheistic (believing in more than one god) trinitarianism was intertwined with Greek religion and philosophy and slowly worked its way into Christian thought and creeds some 300 years after Christ. The idea of "God the Son" is Babylonian paganism and mythology that was grafted into Christianity. Worshipping "God the Son" is idolatry, and idolatry is Biblically condemned; it breaks the first great commandment of God of not having any gods before him (Exodus 20:3). Then three centuries after Christ the corrupt emperor Constantine forced the minority opinion of the trinity upon the council of Nicea. The Christian church went downward from there; in fact some of the creeds and councils actually contradict each other. The council of Nicea 325 said that "Jesus Christ is God," the council of Constantinople 381 said that "the Holy Spirit is God," the council of Ephesus 431 said that "human beings are totally depraved," the council of Chalcedon 451 said that "Jesus Christ is both man and God." If you follow the logic here then first you have Jesus Christ as God, then you have man totally depraved, and then you have Jesus Christ as man and God. If Jesus Christ is both man and God does this mean that God is also totally depraved? Well maybe the doctrine of the coequal, coeternal, one-substance, mysterious three in one triune godhead is deprived of any historical foundation tying it into the Christianity of the Bible and the Christianity of the first three centuries. However the historical information ties the trinity into various pagan origins.

That’s a big lie. All the early church fathers he mentioned believed in the trinity.
*Adnon shows his ignorance the concept of a Trinity was already written in the Bible*
EX Phil 2:5 "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it [b]robbery to be equal with God, 7 but [c]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Trinity is accepted in early church . They didn't think Jesus was a mere holy man He was God coming in the flesh . This is trinity doctrine without naming in as such
The concept of the trinity is not original to Christianity. A very great many Celtic deities were triads, or trinities. And many early converts to Christianity were Celtic. They brought a portion of their Celtic theology with them into Christianity.
This is not true as the document called the Didache written in the first century proves that the church has always believed in the trinity when it called for people to baptize in the name of the father, and the son, and the holy spirit. This is the trinity

The Architects are Plato Aristotle and Plutinos
The builders are the bishops of Alexandria followers of Platonic philosophy.
The book The Greek Background of Christianity says of these "Fathers": "All these Fathers are in the last analysis heirs of the Alexandrian knowledge, which is true to the Platonic tradition." (Methodiou Fouias, Metropolitan of Pisidia [Publications of the Apostolic Ministry of the Church of Greece], p. 93) He also states: "It is no secret that . . . three authorities of Greek philosophy remained in Christianity, Plato, Aristotle, and Plotinus.”-S. 162
Because Jesus is The Only way to God ❤️
JESUS CHRIST : Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Mathew 28:19
This is the doctrine of Trinity.
The worse part is, it evolved in time, with councils.
The crucifiction and resurrection of our Lord had a very reliable witness among the many witnesses who also saw and experienced the mystery and miracles of Christ. That witness was John the theologian.
Christmas time we have this neighbour who fills his garden with hundreds of illuminated Snowmen there is not one unequivocal verse about this.. But its much prettier than the hundreds of Strawmen Adnan has been planting around his.
Recently I saw a video in Blogging Theology where Jake the Metaphysician explains the early church fathers never believed in the Trinity of today. They considered the Son to be subordinate to the Father (not equal) and that Jesus was not eternal of the Father but started to exist by the will of God(the Father).
Jake shows the texts of the church fathers which clearly showed on how they had a different belief of the Son and the Father and todays Trinitarians would reject these church fathers unfortunately.
If it was clear already then all the church fathers would have simply ended the conversation by saying the Father and Son are coequal and coeternal but it seems otherwise.
Wow - I am going to look this up and study it
Tertullian existed before the Council of Nice and he spoke about the trinity so what is your Point ? I just try to understand because as far as I know Tertullian wrote that the trinity is 3 but one God.
Tertullian, based on modern Christian theology, was a heretic; he believed that Jesus was divine, yet created; similarly, he believed that the Holy Sprit was divine, yet created from Jesus’ essence. He is, furthermore, completely opposed to the equality between the three persons, explicitly emphasizing the authority of God the Father over the other two.
Tertullian certainly represents a bridge between the developments in early Christianity (which typically held Jesus to be some sort of divine being) to 4th Century Christology, but to argue that he was anything other than a heretic would be a stretch. No one would argue that there was no mention of a proto-trinity before the Council-that would be absurd. The modern Trinity itself, however, doesn’t really materialize until the developments in the various councils.
I think you missed the point that the majority of those early scholars (church fathers) were considered heretics. That means that some, who toed the orthodox line, were not, according to the church.
@@peterquin3724Great thank you for your explanation ! It is very interesting !
@@geto4790 That brother said a lot but for those of us who have studied as well, I simply put it as "Tertullian believed as the anonymous Gospel writers of John believed: subordinationism". So, the point Adnan makes in the video which is a point I've been making for decades, Modern Christianity and Christian actually condemn nearly ALL of their original church fathers in the first 326 of Christianity because they did NOT believe as the modern Christians believe.
It's amazing how obvious the truth is but Christians cannot hear it because they are not honest human-beings.
This is mental gymnastics though; God made this subject EXTREMELY simple: Christianity is idolatry by definition. And I can quote the definition of idolatry for you if you do not know it or understand it. Plain and simple. Christianity ranks higher on the list of evil (according to the 10 commandments) than murder.

Does Adnan live on another planet? Early church understood God is ONE God as 3 persons.
The very central core message of the Bible God the Father sending His Son for mankind to give us life eternal, to never leave us nor forsake us by leaving us the Comforter , HIS Holy Spirit to abide both in us and with us collectively as this Body , His church on earth.
Muslims love the JEWISH word , Tawheed which they believe means ONE but it actually mean UNIFICATION.
So Tawheed doesn't describe allah at all. Only Yahweh is ONE God , unified as 3 persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
When you look at christianity through an islamic lens. The same can be applied to christianity looking at islam. Maybe its just best to stay in our own lanes and just be friendly to one another.
If you tell someone something and let the person narrate is to other people, by the time it got to the tenth person it would have change in meaning. Exactly what Christianity has turnwd into.

Qur'an 16:43 (O Muhammad), whenever We raised any Messengers before you, they were no other than human beings;38 (except that) to them We sent revelation. So ask those who possess knowledge if you do not know
21:7) (O Muhammad), even before you We never sent any other than human beings as Messengers, and to them We sent revelation. Ask the People of the Book if you do not know
Quran, 5:47 : “And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient
