You need to re-bury the Aluminum bits & Pull Tabs for him (Alex) to waste his time digging up. That leaves you an opportunity to do some serious detecting.
Make a deal with Alex ! you’ll take him to the beach for gas money and 20% of everything that he finds! When you find a gold ring take out a pair of cutters and cut off 20% of it right there! It will make for some good video!
Seems like somebody is always going to be in front unless one of you stays in the dry. I wouldnt worry though because the coil is tiny compared to the masssive area of the beach you guy are covering. I bet you could go back over the same gridded area a few times and keep finding stuff. And sometimes the detector doesnt pick up on a target first swing.

I bought my first metal detector way back in 1980 44 years ago so what are you doing is nothing new to anybody there was no internet but there was still a lot of guys out there metal detecting the beaches it's a long long historic Hobby nothing new you need to get lucky or you don't get lucky that's the name of the game.you find something or you don't, doesn't matter how many other people are around.
You could not pay me to watch that guy's channel. He makes your channel hard to watch sometimes. Give him the job as mayor of L.A. or district congressman or something if you want him to go away.
