I just listened to his War Pigs cover, and he killed that, then I came to this one, and he killed that too. This is one of my favorite Sam Cooke tracks (along with “Another Saturday Night”) and I think T-Pain did this proud. The world needs more T-Pain covers! (Especially the metal ones, would like to see him cover Dio or Maiden!)

Sam Cooke is my favorite artist and in hearing many covers of this song I haven’t been too impressed. This isn’t a song that you can sing good on. You have to sing this from the soul especially knowing the times that the song was composed in. But…T-Pain sung this from his soul man. By far the only cover of this song that gives goosebumps!
