Kudos to all the pilots and crew who landed and too off in this snow storm. I was watching a similar thing at one of the UK airports. And certain pilots were making excuses for not landing the aircraft because it was windy. Though, a pilot came on line and shared his disappointment for those planes that had their tires on the tarmac , had to take off. But, others came online with excuses. They need to have this pilots re-train them. Congratulations!!!! To all these pilots. Great job! I will feel at easy flying with these airlines that took and landed.
I am wondering if the snow remained since daytime temperatures were above freezing that week. It should become much colder next week (Feb. 3) with temperatures below freezing. Good for the beginning of the Snow Festival!

pit korditis Didn’t you see what everyone else saw, an arrival Thai 747 from Bangkok? They have international service to Busan, Shanghai, Taipei, Seoul, as well. Most every major city in Japan has service to Sapporo not just Tokyo. Try Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, etc.
